Radisson Hotel Group signs Glenview Resort in Kasauli, expanding presence in Himachal Pradesh

Radisson Hotel Group has expanded its footprint in Himachal Pradesh with the addition of Glenview Resort in Kasauli. This brings the group’s total to 10 hotels in the state.

Slated to open in Q4 2024, the hotel will offer a variety of rooms, including king rooms, twin rooms, and suites. It will feature a ballroom, an outdoor event space, and two meeting rooms for events and business meetings. Guests can enjoy a swimming pool, gym, and spa, along with diverse dining options such as an all-day restaurant, a rooftop restaurant, and a bar.

QSR industry sees continued pressure on dine-in channel as delivery platforms gain ground

The quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector is facing a slowdown due to weakened consumer demand and a tough macroeconomic climate. A BNP Paribas India report reveals that listed QSR companies have recorded aggregate sales growth of 7-9% in recent quarters, a drop from the 14% CAGR achieved during FY19-24. Dine-in growth has also been limited, as food delivery platforms continue to gain popularity.

The report highlighted that while QSR chains quickly expanded their store count following a robust post-pandemic recovery, revenue growth has not kept pace with this expansion.
