Centre targets $1 billion exports of alcoholic beverages as global demand grows

As part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative, the government plans to promote Indian alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages globally. The goal is to reach $1 billion in export revenue over the next few years, driven by the growing international demand for Indian spirits.

The Agricultural and Processed Food Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, aims to boost exports of Indian spirits to major international markets.
