About Bikaji-

Shri Shivratan Agarwal started the brand Bikaji in 1987 with the goal of providing a flavour of authentic India to consumers throughout. The company behind this product used to be known as Shivdeep Industries Ltd.

His motivation came from Bika Rao, the founder of Bikaner and Ji. As a tribute to him, the company adopted the name “Bikaji.” So that the name will be remembered for years to come, he decided on something simple.

As a result of technological limitations, the company didn’t start out making bhujia until much later. In India, Bikaji’s history began there. Shivratan began shipping Bikaji abroad in 1994 when he began shipping to the United Arab Emirates.

Bikaji only uses raw materials from the highest quality category and market. Materials are prepared in a sterile, human-free setting before being packaged in a machine-operated storefront.

Bikaji is now recognized as a top name in India and beyond in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Bhujia, namkeen, papad, and frozen sweets are Bikaji’s mainstays.

Shivratan Agarwal

In 1987, Shivrantan Agarwal, the visionary grandson of Haldiram’s founder, Mr. Gangabishan Agarwal, set out to fulfill his dream of making the delectable Bikaneri Bujhia available to everyone. Previously, he advertised his wares as being made by Shivdeep Industries Limited. In 1993, he came up with the brand name in honor of the city’s namesake.

Bikaji is now one of India’s (and India’s diaspora’s) most popular and well-liked brands. Shivratan Agarwal has been working in the food service industry for close to twenty-five years. He leads Bikaji as its Chairman and Permanent Director.

Deepak Agarwal

He’s been working in the field for 20 years and is now the Managing Director of Bikaji. His master’s degree in management was earned at Mumbai’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research.

Shweta Agarwal

Shweta Agarwal is the Full-Time Director of Bikaji. She received her BA and MA in Arts (English) from Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer.

Name, Tagline, and Logo

Challenges-

The fact that Rajasthan, Assam, and Bihar account for about 71.87% of the company’s total sales is one of the most difficult things for Bikaji to deal with. Any disruption to their operations as a result of external factors in these key markets is likely to have a significant impact on their bottom line.

Bikaneri Bhujia is their best-selling product and accounts for nearly a third of their total revenue. However, the greatest danger they face is that there is only one factory in all of Bikaner that produces bhujia, and if anything were to happen to that factory, things would be disastrous for Bikaji.

Six of the company’s Indian factories are now producing goods. Having four establishments in Bikaner (Rajasthan), one in Guwahati (Assam), and one in Tumakuru (Karnataka).

Nearly 35 nations outside of India are where the brand’s exports bring in the most money. These include markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific.
