Cooking a nutritious meal daily can be difficult as preparing Indian meals usually takes a long time and is often impossible for office goers. This is why packed, Ready-to-Eat meals are becoming hugely popular in cities. They are also known as RTE Foods.

Travellers and bachelors can also benefit from ready-to-eat foods. And if you want to eat your native cuisine in a foreign country, then these are surely for you. RTE Food requires little preparation before consumption. So, to satisfy your Indian palate craving, here is a list of some Ready-To-Eat brands in India and their products.

1.   The Taste Company – TTC

It is a Hyderabad-based company, established by Raju Vanapala. The Taste Company or as we call it TTC is an Instant Food Brand that is cooked with home-style recipes taken up by a Notch. In simple words, it prepares Ready to Eat meals which have already been cooked and can be consumed by just adding hot water with no further preparation required. The brand offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals in the RTE segments. 

The food is produced with the help of state art infrastructure and technology which involves a freeze-drying process which is ultra-hygienic and ensures the retention of original nutrients, tenderness, flavour, aroma and texture. The Taste Company comes with a minimum of 6 months shelf-life under normal room temperature. Its products are:
