Ingredients
- Kulcha – 4 pieces
- Paneer – 200 grams (cut into small cubes)
- Onion – 1 medium (julienned)
- Capsicum – 1 cup (julienned)
- Tomato – 2 medium to large (smooth paste)
- Chopped Green Chili – 2
- Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
- Pav Bhaji Masala – 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi) – 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
- Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Cream – 2 tbsp
- Butter to toast the sandwich
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- In a pan, heat the oil. Sauté the ginger-garlic paste until aromatic.
- Add green chillis, onion, and capsicum and sauté it. Add pav bhaji masala powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder, and sauté until the vegetables are soft.
- Add tomato paste and salt and fry it till it leaves oil.
- Now, add paneer, salt, cream, and crushed Kasuri methi. Fry the mixture until you get an aromatic flavour.
- Turn off the heat and add chopped coriander. Your stuffing is almost good to go.
- Take the kulchas and apply some green chutney on one side, then spread paneer stuffing over the chutney and top it with the other kulcha to make a sandwich. Similarly, do the other sandwich.
- Heat a pan, grill pan, or sandwich maker. Spread some butter and place the sandwich. Toast it on both sides until crisp and light brown, and toast the other sandwich. Your Kulcha Sandwich is ready!!!
