Honey and Water: Have you ever noticed how sugar almost always results in a quick energy crash and burn? It’s time to say goodbye to energy drinks and coffee. Use honey instead of sugars and sweeteners in tea, baked goods, or as a spread on heated toast. Its natural sugars even decrease weariness during exercise, making it beneficial for athletic performance.

The glucose in honey is quickly absorbed by the body, providing an immediate energy boost, whilst fructose gives sustained energy due to its slower absorption. In comparison to other kinds of sugar, honey has been shown to keep blood sugar levels relatively consistent.

Drinking honey with warm water to lose weight is a guaranteed technique to get a leaner figure. Honey’s antioxidants aid in the removal of pollutants, and its antibacterial qualities protect the body from infection. This combo can be consumed first thing in the morning

Kids Struggling with Concentration in Studies: BETTER NUTRITION HELPS in BETTER MIND DEVELOPMENT

0

Eating the correct foods not only improves a child’s memory but also helps them concentrate better. Because of their active lifestyles at school, on the playground, and at home, children have higher energy requirements during their formative years. They are also at a point in their development when their brain is still rapidly developing, and ignoring appropriate nutrition can have long-term consequences for different aspects of their physical and mental health. Eating foods high in various nutrients may help kids avoid lifestyle diseases and promote better memory, concentration, and growth.

Let us have a look at these nutrient-rich foods and discuss how you can incorporate these ingredients into your child’s meals.

  1. Greek yogurt

According to research, the microbiome plays an important role in brain development. Probiotics included in fermented foods like Greek yogurt can help maintain a healthy microbiome. Blending Greek yogurt with fresh fruit can make a nutritious smoothie for younger children and toddlers, and adding fresh fruit such as blueberries or sliced apples for extra nutrients.

  1.  Oats

Oatmeal porridge has a low glycemic index (GI). A small, older study of 12- to 14-year-olds discovered that having a low GI breakfast improved cognitive function during the school day. Porridge cooked from whole grain oats and topped with nut butter or toasted almonds is an excellent breakfast option for children who are not allergic to nuts. Those who do can boost their protein intake by adding roasted nuts or natural yogurt.

  1.  Eggs

The human brain is composed of fats such as omega-3 fatty acids and DHA, which are commonly found in egg yolk and fish such as salmon, sardines, and anchovies. Eggs and fish are high in protein, and vitamins B6, B12, and D, which help to retain vision and speed up metabolism. These superfoods help to strengthen brain and nerve cells, which improves learning and memory. According to researchers, a lack of these superfoods may result in memory loss and poor decision-making ability.

At least four times every week, children can enjoy foods such as vegetarian egg pancakes, egg rolls, fish-Frankies, salmon rice rolls, fish cutlets, scrambled eggs, and so on.

  1. Berries

Anthocyanins and other flavonoids found in fruits such as blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, and red cherries help with memory function. These are high in antioxidants, fibre, and anti-inflammatory properties. Berries are delicious and liked by youngsters, so they should be included in their diet on a daily basis to meet nutrient requirements and improve brain health.

Strawberry shakes, blueberry smoothies, mixed-berry punch, and mixed fruit custard are some of the delicacies that children can enjoy on a daily basis.

Make sure to add these nutritious superfoods to your kid’s daily diet. These foods not only improve their brain health but also improve their overall health.

Shocked by the prices of organic foods? Here are a couple of reasons why they are so expensive?

0

Organic fruits are a popular choice among consumers who are looking for healthier, more environmentally friendly options. These fruits are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilisers, and they are often considered to be more nutritious than non-organic fruits. One of the main benefits of organic fruits is that they are free from harmful chemicals. Synthetic pesticides and herbicides can be harmful to both human health and the environment.

Organic fruits are grown using natural methods, such as crop rotation and companion planting, to control pests and weeds. This means that organic fruits are less likely to contain traces of harmful chemicals, making them a safer option for both you and the environment.

Yet one cannot ignore why a kg of avocados cost a whopping 1000rs in the national capital and some metropolitan areas. The markup on Organic strawberries are no less, they retail for 200rs/kg in fancy supermarkets.

So why are they so expensive? And why are organic fruits often more expensive than non-organic fruits? Here are some of the reasons:

Labour intensive

One of the main reasons is that organic farming methods are more labour-intensive and require more time and resources than non-organic farming methods. Organic farmers typically use manual labour to control pests and weeds, which is more time-consuming and costly than using chemical pesticides and herbicides.

Licensing

Another reason organic fruits are more expensive is that organic farmers have to pay for expensive certifications and inspections to ensure that their farming methods meet the strict standards set by organic certification organisations. These certifications and inspections can be costly for farmers, and these costs are often passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices for organic fruits.

Complex methods in place

Additionally, organic farming methods often result in lower yields than non-organic farming methods. Organic farmers often use crop rotation, which can result in lower yields than monoculture farming methods.

Organic fertilisers

Furthermore, Organic farmers may have to deal with more pests and diseases, which can also result in lower yields. These lower yields can lead to higher prices for organic fruits, as farmers have to charge more to cover their costs and make a profit.

Irregularities in supply and demand

Another reason organic fruits are expensive is because of supply and demand. Organic fruits are generally considered healthier and more environmentally friendly, so they are in high demand. However, they are not as easy to grow and produce as non-organic fruits, which means that there is less supply. When there is high demand and low supply, prices tend to go up.

Production cost

Finally, organic fruits are often more expensive than non-organic fruits because they are often grown on smaller farms. Smaller farms tend to have higher costs of production than larger farms, which can also lead to higher prices for organic fruits.

Organic fruits are more expensive than non-organic fruits due to a variety of reasons, including the labor-intensive nature of organic farming methods, the costs of certifications and inspections, lower yields, supply and demand, and the fact that organic fruits are often grown on smaller farms. While organic fruits can be more expensive, they are often considered healthier and more environmentally friendly, making them a worthwhile investment for many consumers.

It quickly gained millions of views as it spread throughout the internet.

The individual claimed that he received a bag in addition to his sausage McMuffin. He exclaimed, “What’s in this bag, then? This is a deposit. Why? We’re only talking about a few thousand dollars. Like, what is this? Why would they even want to do this?” After that, he proceeded to demonstrate the cash that was kept in several zip-lock bags.

At this New York restaurant, the world’s priciest Sandwich costs INR 17,000!

0
Chutney-Cheese-Sandwich

Don’t you think people of all ages enjoy sandwiches? Usually, the bread is roasted or grilled along with meat, eggs, and veggies. A crunchy food is a great pleasure to eat. A street sandwich is typically inexpensive, thus most people can afford it.

The sandwiches served in upscale restaurants can be quite expensive. But did you know that a sandwich in an American metropolis costs so much that the ordinary individual would never even think of buying one, much less eating one?

According to the news website Audity Central, the Serendipity 3 restaurant in New York City serves the most expensive sandwich in the world. This title is one that Guinness World Records has given it. Interestingly, Serendipity 3 is the bearer of the records for the priciest dessert, the priciest hamburger, the priciest hot dog, and the biggest wedding cake.

World’s Costliest Sandwiches!

The dish we’re discussing is called a Quintessential Grilled Cheese Sandwich. It has things that are pricey and challenging to get. Here’s the price of this food: a whopping INR 17,000! French Pullman Campagne Bread, made with Dom Perignon Champagne and edible gold flakes, is required, two slices of it.

White truffle butter is spread all over it, and caciocavallo podolico cheese is packed inside. On a Baccarat crystal plate, it is presented with South African Lobster Tomato Bisque Dipping Sauce.

sandwiches

You must have inferred how uncommon these things are from their names. You must order it 48 hours or two days in advance if you want to eat it. Only when someone orders it are the sandwich’s components delivered from other places. This cheese is imported from Italy and prepared from the milk of uncommon kinds of cows. Only 25 thousand cows are bred for milk, and this cow only produces milk for two months of the year.

Experiments with food are not uncommon amongst the restaurants. Though this one is quite an expensive one, let’s see how many foodies are interested to pay such a hefty amount for this unique record-breaking dish.

With more than 68,000 slices, Pizza Hut aims to create the largest pizza ever

0

The sensation of biting into a hot, freshly made pizza with a crispy crust, toppings of meat or vegetables, and plenty of cheese is unmatched, let us just accept it. With admirers all around the world, it is unquestionably one of the most popular Italian meals. You can always get a ‘pizza’ to pacify your appetite, no matter where you are in the world.

A recent attempt to create the largest pizza in history was made by the American multinational restaurant company “Pizza Hut” as a further demonstration of its devotion for this Italian delicacy.

This world-record pizza, according to a report from Reuters, will have 68,000 pieces when it is finished and will be 1,310 square meters in size. In order to assemble the pizza, the base is covered with rectangular slices of pizza dough. Prior to adding cheese and pepperoni, pizza sauce is first spread over the dough. It will be prepared using a cooking apparatus that hovers over the pizza pieces because no oven can fit such a massive pizza. Look at this video shared by Reuters: (Video Link: https://twitter.com/i/status/1616051723658731522)

The pizza is currently being assembled at the Los Angeles Conference Centre in the US. Pizza Hut President David Graves told Reuters that after the record is confirmed, the pizza slices would be distributed to nearby food banks, ensuring that no food will be wasted in this quest to break the record.

In addition, Graves said, “When it comes to firsts, Pizza Hut has a history. We were the first company to deliver pizza and to accept online orders. We always take on challenging, thrilling projects. It therefore seemed appropriate to set a new record for the largest pizza in the world to honor the return of our favorite dish. We did it for that reason, ultimately.”

Let’s wish Pizza Hut to make the record and honor such a great dish. By the way, would you choose to try this “record-breaking” pizza if given the opportunity?
