Although you may be aware that some foods can increase your risk of heart disease, altering your eating habits can be difficult. Whether you’ve been eating improperly for years or you just want to fine-tune your diet, here are many heart-healthy diet ideas. Every day, heart health may not be your first priority, but it should be. Heart disease is the greatest cause of mortality worldwide, yet many individuals aren’t doing enough to keep their tickers in good working order. Even lifestyle adjustments such as lowering your salt consumption or watching less television have been tested and proved beneficial towards a healthy heart health.

When you head towards 30’s it becomes a thought of concern as there are certain age related factors which can increase the risk of developing a cardiovascular condition.

Without wasting your time let’s introduce you to some foods which you should incorporate in your diets to avoid any adverse effects from the disease and lead a happy and healthy life. 

  1. Walnuts

Walnuts are high in fiber and micronutrients such as magnesium, copper, and manganese. According to research, including a few pieces of walnuts in your diet can provide protection against heart disease.

  1. Olive Oil

Olive oil is a good source of fat that is created from mashed olives. It’s high in antioxidants that are good for your heart. They could shield your blood vessels. When olive oil is substituted for saturated fat such as butter, it can help decrease cholesterol levels. Serve with salads, cooked vegetables, or toast.

  1. Dark chocolate

Dark chocolate is a unique example of a food that tastes great and is also excellent for you; nonetheless, it should be used in moderation. Scientists now believe that dark chocolate contains anti-atherosclerosis properties, which occur when plaque builds up inside the arteries, raising the risk of heart attack and stroke.

  1. Tomatoes

Tomatoes are high in lycopene, and concentrated tomato products are high in vitamins. Including lycopene in your diet may help protect your heart, especially if your present diet is lacking in antioxidants.

By eating all the above mentioned foods try to do some sort of excessive in order to stay active throughout the day, hit the gym or you can go for home workouts also but make sure you move around and burn some calories.

Cautious warning: All these foods help reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases , but always consult your physician before trying anything, and don’t forget to be moderate and avoid eating junk food.
