Ingredients

The ingredients for Veg Galouti Kebab are simple and easy to find. Here is what you need:

• 2 cups of boiled and mashed potatoes

• 1 cup of boiled and mashed carrots

• 1 cup of boiled and mashed cauliflower

• 1 cup of boiled and mashed green peas

• 1/2 cup of finely chopped onions

• 2 tablespoons of grated ginger

• 2 tablespoons of grated garlic

• 2 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves

• 2 tablespoons of garam masala powder

• 2 tablespoons of cumin powder

• 2 tablespoons of coriander powder

• 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder

• 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

• 2 tablespoons of oil

• Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Cook the onions till they turn translucent.

2. Add the grated ginger and garlic and cook for a minute.

3. Now add the boiled and mashed potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, and green peas. Mix everything together and cook for five minutes.

4. Add the garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt to taste. Mix everything together and cook for a few minutes.

5. Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool down.

6. Once the mixture is cooled, add the chopped coriander leaves and mix everything together.

7. Now take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round patties.

8. Heat a non-stick pan and add a tablespoon of oil.

9. Place the patties in the pan and cook for two minutes on each side.

10. Serve the Veg Galouti Kebab hot with chutney or raita.
