Comedian Calls Idli ‘Tasteless White Sponge’, Food-Lovers are not cool with it!

However, in recent times, a clip shared by a stand-up comedian named @agovindmenon went viral, where he criticized idlis as a ‘tasteless white sponge’. The video received mixed reactions, with some agreeing with the comedian’s opinion and others defending the dish as a beloved and essential part of South Indian cuisine.

Despite the comedian’s remarks, idlis remain a popular and widely cherished breakfast option among Indians. They are loved for their soft and fluffy texture, which pairs perfectly with the spicy and tangy flavors of sambhar and chutney.
