Tim Hortons, the popular Canadian restaurant chain, has recently expanded its reach with the opening of two new outlets. This exciting news was announced by a company official on social media. One of the new locations can now be found at Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in New Delhi, while the other has been established in Patiala, Punjab. This expansion reflects Tim Hortons’ commitment to offering its delectable offerings to a wider audience, both in high-traffic travel hubs and local communities.

The Punjab outlet marks the 6th store within the city and the 16th establishment for the brand across India. Meanwhile, the Tim Hortons store situated at IGI Airport stands as the 17th addition to their chain, proudly being the brand’s inaugural airport location. This particular store spans an impressive 36,000 square feet in size.

“Beat the heat with our newest #TimHortons. #Store16 in India now open in #Patiala! Spreading our signature warmth and care with our 6th store in Punjab. We will make sure we always give back the love we get in this market and everywhere. #TimHortonsInPunjab. We are proud and joyous to announce the opening of our first ever airport store in India and Store#17 at #Terminal3 #DomesticDepartures at #NewDelhi s #IGIAirport,” announced Ambuja Agarwal, General Manager – business development-North, Tim Hortons on LinkedIn.

In January, it was reported that the coffee chain has set its sights on opening over 120 stores in India within a period of 36 months. The company’s current expansion strategy is concentrated in North India, with a strong emphasis on regions like Delhi and Punjab. Additionally, they have plans to enter markets including Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. To commemorate Lohri, the brand inaugurated a new outlet in Ludhiana, Punjab. Furthermore, they recently opened another branch in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi.
