Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup boiled mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp salt or as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2-3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2-3 tbsp oil

Instructions:

  1. Dry roast the oats in a pan on medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Once they turn light brown in color, remove from heat and allow them to cool.
  1. In a mixing bowl, add mashed potatoes, chopped onion, carrot, capsicum, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix everything together.
  1. Add the cooled oats to the mixing bowl and mix everything well.
  1. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into cutlets.
  1. Coat each cutlet with breadcrumbs.
  1. Heat oil in a pan and place the cutlets in the pan.
  1. Fry the cutlets on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
  1. Once the cutlets are cooked, remove them from the pan and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
