Just like in Indian food, spices play an important role in Moroccan cuisine too. The flavours are wholesome, with a balanced amount of spices.

The ancient dishes were very stapling and basic; they used dates and figs in large quantities to prepare stews for lamb; today, a much wider variety of ingredients are used to prepare these blissful stews. Moroccan cuisine is referred to as the most delicious and flavorful cuisine. It looks temptingly colourful because of the different fruits and herbs. It is quite healthy also, as the food is loaded with fruits, freshly prepared, and they avoid deep frying.

Undoubtedly, it is one of the most famous and yummy dishes. Saffron-flavoured chicken, an omelette cooked in an onion-herb sauce, and sweetened fried almonds are all baked within a paper-thin pastry. Cinnamon and powdered sugar are used to decorate and garnish the bastilla.

This Moroccan dish you should definitely try and feel delightful. The chicken is roasted and then served with a creamy tomato and onion sauce.

Seffa Medfauna

Sweet and savoury lovers will go crazy after trying this yummy dish. vermicelli noodles, which are steamed until plump and tender. savoury, saffron-flavoured chicken and sauce, which are hidden within the mound of pasta.

It is a favourite of many Moroccans and is garnished with fried almonds and powdered sugar.
