Here is a simple yet delicious chocolate cake recipe that you can try for the upcoming Christmas and make everything even more wow. It is quick to make and yummy to taste!
CHOCOLATE CAKE INGREDIENTS
60g all-purpose flour
75g sugar
• 25g cocoa powder
• 6g baking powder
• 3 egg whites
• 3 egg yells
• 30 g oil
• 35g milk
• 6g vinegar
PROCEDURE
STEP 1
Take the eggs and separate the yolks and egg white in two separate bowls. Add the vinegar to the egg whites
STEP 2
Beat the egg whites in a stand mixer or hand mixer.
Once they begin to froth add in the sugar in parts to form a meringue with really soft peaks. The better the meringue the better the sponge texture.
STEP 3
Whisk the egg yolks and vanilla essence really well in a separate bowl and add it to the meringue mixture. Fold it gently by cut and fold method.
STEP 4
In a separate bowl. Sieve all the dry ingredients i.e. flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and mix well.
STEP 5
Add the dry mixture to the egg mixture and fold gently. Do not overmix the batter.
STEP 6
In a bowl mix the oil and milk with some batter and finally mix it all together making a smooth ribbon-like consistency cake batter.
STEP 7
Pour the batter into a 6″ or 7″ cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 160-180 degrees for about 40 min.
