- French Toast
A thick slice of bread soaked in an egg, milk, and cinnamon mixture, toasted in a pan, and served with butter and maple syrup. This is the most delicious breakfast recipe. It can be ready in just minutes.
- Sunny Side Up Egg
Classic sunny-side-up eggs with golden yolks and tender, just-set whites beg to be the eyes on your breakfast plate. But it’s a little tricky to make it. In a cast iron pan, melt butter over medium heat until lightly foaming; tilt your pan to distribute the melted butter evenly. Break the eggs carefully into the frying pan, season with salt, and cook for 3 minutes, until the whites are set and the yolks are runny. Transfer to a plate, season with pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
- Lemon rice
If you have leftover rice, this shall be your go-to breakfast. Take kadhai, add oil and allow it to heat on medium flame. Once the oil is hot, add two tsp of mustard seeds, a tsp of urad dal and chana dal, some kadhi patta, ¼ tsp of hing, some green chillies and lots of peanuts. Fry till it turns red. And then add turmeric powder after 1 min, add leftover rice and mix properly. You are good to go!
- Vermicelli Upma
If you are bored with regular upma, try this one, it’s super tasty. Within minutes you can make it during your busy mornings.
- Pongal
A famous south Indian dish is straightforward to make. You just need a pressure cooker. Take 1 cup rice and ½ cup urad dal, wash it, add 4 cups of water, and give 3-4 whistles. Once the pressure is released, remove the rice dal mixture in a bowl. Now take a Kadai and add ghee,hing, pepper, kadhi patta, jeera, cashew nuts and dry chilli. Directly pour it over the rice daal mixture. Pongal is ready.
