Netizens are shocked as Pizza Made on Banana Leaves goes viral!

Pizza is a popular Italian meal all over the world. There are numerous pizza recipes to pick from, including the classic Margherita pizza, cheese burst pizza, pepperoni pizza, and many more. We’ve all seen how Indian street food sellers are experimenting with pizza and toppings to offer something different.

A Surat street vendor, for example, developed an innovative pizza recipe that startled its customers. The food blogger foodieskaadda007 published the video on Instagram, where it has received over 2 million views and 126k likes.

The street vendor assembles the pizza, as seen in the video, by placing the pizza foundation on a large banana leaf and then adding pizza sauce, toppings, cheese, paneer cubes, and seasonings. She later wraps the pizza in a banana leaf and cooks it in a pan.

This is how the well-known patra fish came to be. In this recipe, the fish has been replaced by pizza. Yes, you read that right! Have you ever considered giving the traditional pizza a Desi twist? Indian street vendors can certainly do anything! Instagram users are split on the weird Patra Pizza.

Some users found the recipe intriguing. People wrote things like “good job” and “yummy.” Others were bewildered as to why the original pizza recipe had been altered in the first place.
