One of the world’s favorite foods is noodles. They can be made quickly and served in a variety of ways, such as with sauces, vegetables, meat, or soup. A hot bowl of noodles is always there for us when we’re in a pinch or just need something wonderful at 3 a.m.

In addition, noodles can be found in a wide variety of forms across the globe. Ramen, udon, soba, vermicelli, and even glass can all be considered the epitome of comfort food. But have you ever pondered the process through which noodles are created? Recently, former Norwegian diplomat Erik Solheim uploaded a video showing the traditional method of making noodles in the Chinese province of Shaanxi.

The Twitter video shows a chef stretching noodles with care as he swings the tool. The movie then cuts to several people stretching noodles by the meter before they are stretched vertically from the ceiling to dry. The broth that the noodles are served in looks fantastic. “Noodles have been debated as having been developed in Italy and then exported to China. Maybe it’s the other way around. Noodles are a Chinese staple, and in Shaanxi, they are especially traditional. Dated back to the Tang Dynasty, ” Check out the post’s caption! Check this out:

More than 20,000 people have watched the video, and there have been hundreds of likes and a few comments. The comments section of this article is full of people’s theories about where noodles came from. Here are a few responses for your perusal:

“I doubt there are any China experts who insist that Italians introduced noodles to their country. “Whether noodles originated in China or the Mediterranean or were invented in Italy is a common topic of discussion.”

“I have no doubt in my mind that it happened independently or in the opposite direction.”

“The vast majority of Italian experts agree that Marco Polo was responsible for introducing the concept of noodles to Italy.” “Convergent evolution is a theory advanced by some.”

“Remember that the Chinese eat more than just wheat noodle soup.” The store also sells a variety of noodles, including rice noodles, luosifen noodles, egg noodles, etc. One of the tombs also has an artifact that appears to be an ancient noodle. “At the time, it was on display in a museum in China.”
