One of the world’s favorite foods is noodles. They can be made quickly and served in a variety of ways, such as with sauces, vegetables, meat, or soup. A hot bowl of noodles is always there for us when we’re in a pinch or just need something wonderful at 3 a.m.

Recently, former Norwegian diplomat Erik Solheim uploaded a video showing the traditional method of making noodles in the Chinese province of Shaanxi.
The Twitter video shows a chef stretching noodles with care as he swings the tool. The movie then cuts to several people stretching noodles by the meter before they are stretched vertically from the ceiling to dry.
