One actress who adheres to a fairly regimented approach to physical fitness is Sara Ali Khan. Her strenuous efforts at the gym and at the pilates studio inspire us to get out of bed and get moving. Nevertheless, eating is one area in which Sara Ali Khan does not make any concessions. The actress is known to be one of the biggest foodies in the world and never misses an opportunity to indulge in some tasty foods.
Despite the fact that she has a serious craving for sweets, Sara Ali Khan is not afraid to venture out of her comfort zone and sample new Indian cuisines. Not too long ago, we caught sight of the actress eating a traditional winter dish from Gujarat. Do you have any idea what that was? That would be none other than the savory undhiyu.
On her Instagram stories, Sara Ali Khan posted a photo of a delicious Gujarati undhiyu. She served the vegetable dish made in a single pot with some phulkas or rotis prepared in the style of her family. “Thank you very much, Ami Patel, for making the tastiest undhiyu.” So long as you don’t expect me to put on any warm clothing for the next seven days, I’ll be fine.
This week, we anticipate another contribution from you, Parth Mangla, ” She penned the caption for the photo. In addition to that, she accompanied the narrative with the hashtags #thanks, #Sunday, and #yummy. A delightful sticker with the Gujarati word for “majama” written on it was also discovered in the story.
For those who are unfamiliar, undhiyu is a dish that is traditionally made using a variety of vegetables and is thought to have originated in Surat, Gujarat. It is prepared with a variety of green vegetables that are in season and easily accessible, particularly in this chilly weather, and the ingredients are mixed together. The meal is given the name “undhiyu,” which literally translates to “inverted,” since the vegetables are combined before being cooked in a pot that has been turned upside down. The recipe for an authentic Gujarati undhiyu can be found by clicking here.
