Biggies Burger is a popular QSR brand known for its delicious and innovative burger offerings. With over 130 outlets in 14 states across India, the brand has built a loyal customer base over the years. The brand has now entered the fried chicken category with the launch of Bigguy’s Wingery, a new brand that focuses on offering grilled and fried chicken wings.
The first Bigguy’s Wingery store has been opened in Dommasandra, Bengaluru, with plans for further expansion in the future. The new brand has been launched after four years of extensive market research to find a dependable farm that can breed and supply wings of uniform size. This attention to detail is reflected in the quality of the chicken wings offered at the Wingery, which are bound to satisfy the taste buds of even the most discerning chicken lovers.
Rout, Founder of the Biggies Burger, said, “As chicken wings are natural products, we cannot increase or reduce the weight at the outlet. Therefore, we required a supplier who was fully integrated into the system. Even in wings, grilled wings will be our USP. Our target is to open 40 Bigguy’s Wingery by the end of this year with an ARR (annual run rate) of INR 40 crore.”
Wingery aims to be a standalone brand that competes with international QSR brands in the same category, such as KFC and Nandos, as well as its parent brand, Biggies Burger. The new brand is expected to offer customers a diverse range of chicken wing options, from classic fried wings to grilled wings with a variety of mouth-watering sauces.
The launch of Bigguy’s Wingery is a strategic move by Biggies Burger to diversify its offerings and capture a share of the lucrative fried chicken market in India. With the growing popularity of QSR brands and the increasing demand for chicken-based dishes, this move is expected to help the brand expand its customer base and strengthen its position in the fast food industry.
