ITC opens an INR 450 Cr food processing plant close to Hyderabad

The Medak plant will have a worker composition that is consistent with ITC’s efforts to increase the engagement of women, with this facility employing 50% women across the board in manufacturing.

According to KT Rama Rao, Minister of IT, Govt of Telangana, the government is creating special zones for food processing on 10,000 acres of land, and one such zone with a total area of 1,400 acres is being developed in Gajwel.
