EazyDiner, the platform that facilitates restaurant table reservations, food discovery, and payments, has announced raising INR 40 crore in a recent funding round from DMI Alternative Investment Fund.

EazyDiner is a popular platform that has made dining out a hassle-free experience for millions of users in India, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. The platform was founded in 2014 by Kapil Chopra, a renowned hospitality industry veteran, and has since become one of the leading players in the online food space in India.

Kapil Chopra, Founder of EazyDiner, said, “With the latest funding round, EazyDiner is well-positioned to grow exponentially and add new features to make it even more rewarding for consumers and restaurant partners to encourage eating out at great restaurants.”

With a focus on user experience, EazyDiner has partnered with more than 12,000 restaurants across India, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, providing users with a hassle-free way to book a table and discover new dining experiences. According to the company’s statement, it serves more than 3 million users and facilitates reservations for over 700 restaurants throughout Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Shivashish Chatterjee, Co-founder of DMI Finance, said, “We are excited to partner with the EazyDiner team as they scale their business pan India and internationally. The Sparkle Fund is always on the lookout for companies that have the vision to innovate in the financial services ecosystem and with EazyDiner, the future of eating out looks promising.”

Additionally, EazyDiner has introduced its payment product ‘PayEazy’ in the Middle East in recent times, enabling users to pay for their meals seamlessly using their mobile phones. PayEazy also offers additional discounts and reward points for every payment made, making it an attractive proposition for users looking to save on their dining expenses.

Recently, EazyDiner also partnered with IndusInd Bank to launch a co-branded dining credit card that offers several benefits, including a complimentary EazyDiner Prime membership.

The Prime membership guarantees a minimum of 25% and up to 50% savings at more than 2,000 restaurants, along with an additional 25% discount of up to INR 1,000 for every payment made through PayEazy, and the instant redemption of reward points. This collaboration has further expanded EazyDiner’s reach and made it even more accessible to a wider user base.

Moreover, EazyDiner has also formed strategic partnerships with some of the most popular hotel chains in the country, such as ITC Hotels, Radisson Hotels, JW Marriott, Four Seasons, St Regis, Trident, Indian Accent, Olive, Mamagoto, and Barbeque Nation. These partnerships have enabled EazyDiner to provide exclusive dining experiences and discounts to its users, further enhancing its value proposition.

EazyDiner has created a seamless and hassle-free dining experience for its users, and with the recent funding from DMI Alternative Investment Fund and The Sparkle Fund, the company is poised to further expand its operations in India and the Middle East, offering even more value to its users.
