As part of the “Indian Stories with Gary & Friends” series, Chef Gary Mehigan and Chef Saransh Goila organized a physical masterclass at Trident Hyderabad. This exclusive series provided participants with a unique culinary experience and the opportunity to learn from and interact with renowned Chefs. The masterclass, held in a physical setting, showcased the exceptional skills and creativity of Chef Gary Mehigan and Chef Saransh Goila, offering attendees an unforgettable experience.

Chef Gary Mehigan, originally from the UK, attributes his formative years as a chef to his work at two Michelin-starred restaurants. After moving to Australia in 1991, he gained further experience working at top restaurants before eventually starting his own business at the age of 31.

Gary’s career skyrocketed when he became a household name on the popular TV show, MasterChef, alongside fellow Chefs Matt Preston and George Calombaris. The show has aired for 12 seasons over 11 years, becoming a daily staple for viewers. MasterChef Australia series 2 became the highest-rated show on Australian television and inspired a new generation of young cooks to embrace food and cooking.

Speaking at the event, Chef Gary Mehigan said, “I am thrilled to be in Hyderabad for the first event of the series “Indian Stories with Gary Mehigan & Friends” for Conosh. I’ve known Saransh Goila for some time now but this is the first time we are cooking together, so I can’t wait to share with our guests the recipes and menu we have cooked up.”

Saransh Goila is a renowned Indian chef, who gained recognition after winning the Food Food Maha Challenge. He is the founder of the famous restaurant ‘Goila Butter Chicken’ and also authored the food travelogue ‘India on My Platter’.

In 2018, Saransh was invited to be a guest judge on MasterChef Australia, where he challenged contestants to recreate his version of the iconic Butter Chicken. He has recently set a challenging 100-step Pressure Test titled “Safarnama” in the latest season of MasterChef India, which has showcased his culinary skills and expertise.

Saransh’s passion for food and his unique approach to cooking have made him a well-respected figure in the industry. He continues to inspire and mentor aspiring chefs, while also creating new culinary experiences for food enthusiasts all over the world.

Speaking at the event, Chef Saransh Goila said, “I’m so excited to be a part of Conosh Masterclass with Chef Gary Mehigan in Hyderabad. Today we will teach attendees some of our favourite food hacks as we demonstrate some really fun and Delicious recipes.”

Vaibhav Bahl, the Co-founder of Conosh, said, “Conosh wants to blend boundaries for global talents in the culinary world and boost a local audience for their narrative gastronomy. We are thrilled to present a new format where Chef Gary cooks along with an Indian celebrity chef and together they take you on an unforgettable culinary trail. Chef Saransh will get more regional influences to the menu, inspired by his Indian travels, and complement Chef Gary’s Australian classics.
