Ustad Moinudin kebabs – Lal Kuan, Gali Qasimjan, Chawri Bazar.

It’s one of the legendary places. The Buff Seekh kebabs made by Ustad Moinuddin, widely regarded as some of the best in the city, are delicious. For melt-in-your-mouth seekh kebabs, Ustad Moinuddin performs his magic, visible in his delicately seasoned, fatted, minced meat. We accompany these kebabs with onion rings, lemon wedges, and chutney. Sangam Biryani is another name for this restaurant, given that Ustad Moinuddin’s son is the proprietor and sells delicious biryani during the day.

Why is it famous?

It’s a fact that Ustad Moinuddin possesses magic. And it is. Their kebabs are not only expertly grilled, but the flavours are also unmistakably delicious. With onion, lemon, and green chutney, wonderfully seasoned kebabs are served. Because they sell biryani during the day, this location is also known as Sangam Biryani.

Bhaijaan kebabs – Shop 2202, Bazar Chitli Qabar, Near Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk.

Bhaijaan kebabs can be found in the Chitli Qabar neighbourhood’s tiny lanes. One of Old Delhi’s most delectable Shammi kebabs can be found here. This one only opens its doors at 4.30 pm, so don’t make lunch plans. The proprietor’s childhood nickname for his father inspired the restaurant’s name, and no one makes a better Shammi kebab than Bhaijaan.

Why is it famous?

The Chicken Shami Kebab is made exceptionally well; it is juicy, tender, and flavorful. Some claim Bhaijaan is the only one who can make a flavorful Shami kebab. Ask anyone about Flora Bakery in Chitli Qabar if you get lost. The bakery is direct across from the store that sells Bhaijaan Kebabs.

Karim’s – 16, Gali Kababian, Jama Masjid.

This place would be well-known to a true Delhiite. One excellent illustration of their genius is the kebabs at Karim’s. The Jama Masjid location, a famous establishment, is said to serve the best kebabs. What do we advise? The seekh kebabs are made of mutton. Try the Karim’s at the India Islamic Center for a cleaner, more convenient, and more pleasant experience.

Why is it famous?

They use the same traditional Mughlai ingredients to produce exceptionally tasty kebabs. Sample their Seekh, Shami, Chicken, Roti Boti, and Karim kebabs. Those seeking a clean environment to sample Old Delhi’s Mughlai cuisine are advised to visit this location.

Qureshi kabab Corner – Opposite Gate 1, Jama Masjid, New Delhi.

Qureshi Kabab Corner is located directly across from Gate 1 Jama Masjid. One of the juicy Seekh kebabs can be found at this tiny street food stand.

Why is it famous?

Kebabs are served with raw onions and spicy green chutney. Kebabs are amazing. Chicken, Qureshi, Rumali Roti, Mutton Seekh, and Seekh Kebab are available. They taste alike. Mutton and regular Buff kebabs are equally delicious. Due to overcrowding, your order may take 20 minutes.

Lalu Kababee Caterers – Urdu Bazar Road, Opposite Gate 1, Jama Masjid.

Its second generation of owners presently runs Lalu Kebabee. This fairly unassuming store is constantly bustling with customers because they sell many delicious, freshly prepared kebabs.

Why is it famous?

They serve butter-grilled, mint-yoghurt-chutney dishes. We love this shop’s Mutton Seekh Kebab, which costs Rs 200 for a half plate and Rs 400 for a full plate. With rumali roti, the kebabs melt on your tongue like butter. Our favourite Purani Dilli snack is Mutton Seekh Kebabs, with a great balance of spices and herbs.
