ICF join hands with HRANI to enhance culinary experience in India

The Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) and the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) have signed an agreement to improve culinary skills and support growth in the hospitality industry.

According to Economic Times, this partnership will greatly benefit chefs, culinary students, and hospitality professionals in Northern India. By joining forces, these organisations will provide better opportunities for growth and learning.

ICF represents hospitality management, HRANI offers training 

The Indian Culinary Forum represents chefs, cooks, apprentices, and culinary students across India and is dedicated to developing and refining culinary skills.

Interestingly, ICF offers workshops, competitions, and networking events, making it a hub for culinary professionals to improve their skills. The Forum also helps connect Indian chefs to international opportunities, providing bursaries for global exposure and knowledge.

Through this collaboration, HRANI and ICF will co-host events like culinary competitions, seminars, conventions, and food festivals to promote culinary arts and professional growth. They will also develop training programs, workshops, and certification courses to equip chefs and hospitality staff with the latest skills and industry standards.

By joining their resources and expertise, both organisations aim to support research that promotes culinary innovation and sustainability, meeting the changing needs of the hospitality industry.

ICF and HRANI General Secretary Calls Collaboration a Significant Innovation

Meanwhile, Renu Thapliyal, secretary general of HRANI, and Vivek Saggar, general secretary of the Indian Culinary Forum, signed the MoU. Both leaders stressed how important this collaboration is for the future of India’s culinary sector, which is growing and evolving both nationally and internationally.

Regarding the collaboration, Davinder Kumar released a statement, saying, “This alliance will mark a pivotal moment for hospitality professionals across Northern India, with both organisations combining their expertise to benefit chefs, culinary students, and industry stakeholders. Together, we aim to inspire culinary innovation and provide unparalleled opportunities for professionals to refine their skills. Moving Forward, the MoU will set industry standards for recognizing culinary professionals, aligning certifications with global benchmarks.
