Something’s Brewing, India’s spot for coffee lovers, has unveiled plans to expand its physical presence across the country. They aim to open 100 retail points, including stores and community centres, in metro and smart cities by the end of 2025.
Something’s Brewing opens a Coffee Centre in Surat
Business of food reported that Abhinav Mathur, Founder & MD of Something’s Brewing, highlighted the importance of physical stores. He said, “Our products invoke all senses – smell, taste, sight, and touch. While we maintain a strong online presence, we believe in creating immersive physical spaces where the coffee community can meet, interact, and explore.”

As part of its expansion, the Indian coffee brand opened a new Coffee Experience Centre in Surat recently. The 800-square-foot store at G-6 SNS Arista, Udhna Magdalla Road, Vesu, Surat, features over a lineup of 50 coffee gear brands.
Something’s Brewing grows 75% YoY
As of now, the brand runs two retail stores in Bangalore and Surat, plus 10 SIS formats. They plan to expand to 100 stores by 2025. The company has grown significantly, with a 75% year-on-year (YoY) increase, far outpacing the industry’s 20% annual growth rate. This shows Something’s Brewing’s strong market position and the surge in demand for premium coffee experiences in India.
Furthermore, the Surat store provides visitors with brewing demos, expert-led workshops, and a selection of world class coffee equipment, showing the brand’s dedication to coffee education and community building.

Founded in 2019 in Bengaluru, Something’s Brewing is an online retailer of coffee machines. Their catalogue includes coffee machines, servers, cups and mugs, kettles, storage containers, cleaning equipment, filters, grinders, roasters, and more from various brands. The founder and CEO is Abhinav Mathur.
