Going out on a date can make you a little nervous, but that’s okay. It is absolutely normal to feel anxious and nervous before going out on a date. And when you are meeting someone special, it can make the occasion more important than ever. We all wish for a perfect date and try our level best to achieve it. However, there are certain things to keep in mind before stepping out and enjoying yourself with your loved ones.

Always dress your best i.e dress nicely and moderately. Don’t overdress or underdress, try to keep it classy. Just keep the balance in between and look like the best version of yourself. Secondly, avoid wearing clothes that can make you feel uncomfortable in a certain way. Never dress to impress others; instead, go with clothes that make you feel at ease.

None of us wants to spoil our exceptional day for some silly reason. What we eat before going out leaves a significant impact on our mood, behaviour, and most importantly, the tone of the meeting. Everyone knows how important it is to smell all clean and fresh while going out as it can be a deal-maker or breaker for some people.

We have come up with a list of things that you should avoid eating before going out on your special day.

Garlic

Garlic is a big no-no. You have to avoid it at any cost before going out. It increases the germs in your mouth and results in making your breath smell awful.

Onion

Eating onions can increase your body temperature, which will eventually result in more sweating, and more sweating means you can have a bad odour, and no one likes that. And just like garlic, it causes bad breathing.

Sugar

If you are planning to go out, you should avoid sugar that day. Bacteria begins to build in your mouth when you eat sugary items which result in bad breath and ultimately an awkward experience for you and your date.

Avoid eating chewing gum

There is no doubt chewing gum can help prevent bad breath and gum infection. Yet, eating it while talking to a potential partner can come across as rude and too casual for some people. Therefore, only eat it before reaching the meeting point and not while talking to them.

Never forget to brush just before stepping out and use a good quality mouthwash, which will ensure minty, fresh breath. Make sure you take a bath and wear neat, clean clothes.

In addition to that, wear a nice perfume to make everything even fresher and more appealing. A good perfume can enhance your mood as well as others, so always consider a nice, calming scent.
