Long working hours, a heavy workload, job insecurity, or even the slightest conflict with your boss or colleague are a few examples that can cause you uneasiness and stress while working in your office. The office should be your happy place as you spend 7-8 hours there. Our minds can’t function in a stressful environment. That’s why our workplace needs to have all the good vibes and a calm ambience.

Try your best to stay positive and calm during your office hours. But sometimes things are out of our control. In these situations, the only thing that works best is to eat or drink something that will rejuvenate and refresh you from the inside.

We’ve come up with 3 refreshing and revitalising teas that are quick to make and will help you effectively have a fresh and stress-free mind.

You don’t need anything fancy for preparing these teas; just an electronic kettle and a few ingredients will suffice.

turmeric and ginger tea

Boil one cup of water and add two slices of ginger to it. Add some mint leaves, a pinch of turmeric, and a dash of crushed pepper. Let it boil for a few minutes, then strain it and enjoy your turmeric ginger tea.

It helps with anxiety and depression and boosts your serotonin levels. Drink it once or twice a day.

Lemon tea

It is one of the simplest yet most magical teas.

You need to boil water and add some tea leaves to it. After bringing it to a nice boil, strain it and add a generous amount of honey and half a lime.

It is delicious, refreshing, and good for your mood.

It not only improves stress levels but also helps with cognitive function.

Camomile tea

Heat the water and bring it to a boil, then add the camomile tea. After some minutes, strain it and add one spoonful of honey, some lemon drops, and a thin slice of lemon to it. Your tea is ready to be enjoyed warm.

Camomile tea helps with good sleep and digestion. It is loaded with antioxidants.

Consume these teas, but in moderation; limit them to one or two cups a day. They will surely help you have a better, calmer mind to work well. Share it with your colleagues, and you can offer it to your boss too.
