Of course, you can always make it yourself! There are numerous ways to create hot chocolate, and each person can personalize it to their own preferences.

Here’s how to make the best chocolate on a cold winter day

Haitian Hot Chocolate

Haitian hot chocolate is a thick and creamy beverage with warming spices that add an extra touch of heat to warm you up inside on cold winter days!

Ingredients-

  • 3 tbsp Unprocessed cocoa powder
  • 1 ¾ cup Evaporated milk
  • 1⁄3 cup Sugar
  • 2 Star anise

  • ¼ tsp Salt

Directions-

  1. In a pot with 2 cups of water, combine the cocoa powder, star anise, and cinnamon stick.
  2. Simmer for 5 minutes over low-medium heat, constantly stirring to dissolve as much cocoa powder as possible.
  3. After adding the evaporated milk and sugar, continue to boil for 5 minutes on low heat.
  4. Stir in the 14 teaspoon salt and remove from the heat. Remove the spices and undissolved cocoa particles from the hot chocolate. Serve immediately!

Hot Chocolate Variation

Now that we have given you a recipe for one of the best hot chocolates around, we would like to tell you a bit about one of its best variations-

Peppermint  Hot Chocolate

The holiday season is the perfect time to enjoy this peppermint hot chocolate! It is produced with melted chocolate, milk, and a small amount of cream, making it rich, warm, and silky smooth when consumed. It is refreshing yet doesn’t taste like mouthwash because there is just the proper amount of peppermint. Why limit yourself to just one type of chocolate in your mug? It is also garnished with a generous dollop of cocoa whipped cream.

Hazelnut Hot Chocolate

This isn’t your average cup of hot cocoa. In essence, it is similar to drinking chocolate. In actuality, it is equivalent to drinking Nutella. I don’t have the same Nutella obsession as everyone else online. But this alcohol-free, family-friendly hazelnut hot chocolate is the ideal holiday or winter indulgence. You’ll stay warm with this creamy, rich, chocolatey, hazelnut beverage!

Belgium Hot Chocolate

The majority of people immediately conjure up images of chocolate when they hear the term “Belgium.” Imagine a thick, smooth, and warm cup of Belgian hot chocolate now. If you are familiar with Belgian hot chocolate, you may already be drooling at the thought of this wonderfully delectable hot chocolate. We don’t blame you, either. For serious chocolate enthusiasts out there, there is Belgian hot chocolate.

Apart from these, there are other variations of the drink which are also available but these are the best options if one wants to have a change of taste. Try these drinks out and make sure that you and your relatives have a good hot winter going ahead. Also, the chocolate drink will be an instant hit among children for sure!
