Want to add some drama to your dining? Visit these Movie Themed Restaurants!

Are you tired of the same old dining experiences and scenes? Looking for a culinary adventure that will allow you to immerse yourself in fantasies? If you think Bangalore is only about fine dining and regular pubs, you haven’t seen anything yet! These Themed Restaurants will make your dining experience more exciting! Exactly when we thought Bangalore couldn’t be any better.

We did some investigating for you and discovered some of the best theme restaurants in Bangalore that are unique and exciting! Scenes from movies like Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter come to life in the nooks and crannies of Indiranagar and Koramangala to provide an unforgettable culinary experience. So keep reading to discover them and be amazed once more!

  1. Black Pearl

The Pirates of the Caribbean film series is one of the best you’ll ever see numerous times. And fantasize about being a real-life part of that scene, hanging out with the pirates, Captain Jack Sparrow, being inside the ship, and oh, the Black Pearl! She is truly stunning. What if we told you that you could live your dream here in Bangalore?

Dine on Caribbean, Indian, and European dishes while relaxing on chairs shaped like human rib cages. Feel what it’s like to sail with Captain Jack Sparrow while sipping rum and eating juicy kebabs. The Black Pearl has two locations in Bengaluru.

Where –  Vikas Tech Park, 5th Block, Jyoti Nivas College Road, Koramangala

Cuisine – North Indian and Mughlai

Meal for two: Rs 1300 approx

2.     Central Jail

“Hum Angrezo ke zamaneke jailor hain, hen”! Can you guess the movie? Of course, you can; a legendary movie Sholay, which has many epic things but out of them, the jail scene was the most fun part for me because of the jailor. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be locked up? At Central Jail, you can go behind bars in style, with finger-licking food. The place has a realistic appearance thanks to the eerie lighting and exposed brick walls.

This Bangalore jail-themed restaurant has numbered cells, waiters dressed as jailers, and managers dressed in police uniforms, but the food is far from prison quality. So, enter your cell, not as a prisoner, but to sample a variety of cuisines ranging from seafood to Chinese to Mughlai.

Where:  28th Cross, 10th Main, Opposite BDA Complex, 4th Block, Jayanagar

Cuisine: Chinese and Mughalai

Meal for two: Rs 700 approx

 3. Gufha

It serves Indian, Northwest Frontier, Peshawari, and Afghani cuisine in a cave-like setting with low rocky ceilings, mysterious statues, animal print seating, and flame torches. This unique restaurant, located in The President Hotel, adds the sound of gushing water and jungle noises to the ambience, with even the staff dressed up as hunters. Before leaving the cave, try their succulent kebabs, tikkas, and signature dishes like the Laal Maas, Afghani Dum Murgh Biryani, and Khumb Peshawari!

Where:  Diagonal Road, 1st Block, Jayanagar East

Cuisine: Multi-cuisine

Meal for two: Rs 1200 approx

4. Hunger Camp

Military camps and army messes, like trains on this list, are not places where you would expect to find great food. Hunger Camp, Bangalore’s first military-themed restaurant, wants to change your mind! Patrons can dine in tents surrounded by stories of war heroes or in a bunker, with military flasks to pour drinks from, grenade-shaped salt and pepper shakers, and staff dressed in fatigues to set the military vibe.

Where – Next to Kalyani Magnum Tech Park, JP Nagar 4th Phase

Cuisine – North Indian, Mughlai, & Chinese

Meal for two: Rs 1200 approx

Is the pirate yearning for some ship action? These themed restaurants have you covered! Please visit these restaurants. Bangalore is known to always bring you the best content on food, travel, experiences, stories, and much more!
