Ingredients
Dough
¼ tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup curd
water (for kneading)
For instant pizza sauce:
½ cup tomato sauce
¼ cup chilli sauce
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp mixed herbs
For toppings:
onion
capsicum
tomato
jalapeno
olives
sweet corn
cheese
Directions
To make the pizza dough,
- Mix 2 cups wheat flour, ¼ teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and ½ teaspoon salt in a large bowl.
- Mix everything properly.
- Add ¼ cup curd, 2 tablespoons olive oil, and water.
- Begin kneading the dough, adding water as needed.
- Knead a smooth and soft dough.
- Grease the dough, cover, and set aside for 20 minutes.
Instant pizza sauce:
Mix ½ cup tomato sauce, ¼ cup chilli sauce, 1 tsp chilli flakes, and 1 tsp mixed herbs in a bowl.
- Mix everything properly.
- The pizza sauce is ready. Set aside.
Pizza Assembly
- knead the dough slightly after it has rested for 20 minutes.
- Uniformly roll a ball of dough.
- Roll the dough gently in wheat flour.
- Roll to a uniform thickness while remaining slightly thick.
- Using a fork, prick the roti. This helps to keep the Pizza from puffing up.
- Cook the base until it is half-cooked in a hot pan.
- Flip it over and spread the pizza sauce on top.
- Also, add onion, capsicum, tomato, jalapeno, olives, and sweet corn to the top.
- Top with more cheese and vegetables.
- Sprinkle it with chilli flakes and mixed herbs.
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the base is thoroughly cooked.
- Finally, cut the wheat pizza into slices and serve.
