Looking for Nutritious Breakfast Options for your kid? Try theese Healthy and Scrumptious Cereal options

Nowadays, finding the best food for kids can be a challenging task. As we all know, making kids and toddlers eat their food is not as easy as it may sound.

Breakfast is the first and most salient meal of the day, so it is important to make sure that it is healthy and packed with nutrients. When a toddler is at home, making breakfast with lots of hustle can drain mothers’ energy. That’s why most moms prefer cereal for their kids’ breakfast. As one of the safest options, it is high in nutrition and filling, and kids love it too. But you have to keep certain things in mind while buying cereal for your kids.

The two most important ingredients that you should look for in cereal are protein and fibre. Protein plays an important role in the growth of your child, while fibre ensures good gut health and maintains blood sugar levels.

There shouldn’t be much sugar present in the cereal, as eating more than 6 spoons of sugar per day is not advisable for kids. So make sure that the fructose and sugar contents of the cereal are not that high.

The first three ingredients should be whole grains, as they help improve digestion and the growth of the child. See all the ingredients carefully and discard the cereal in which you found some allergy-causing elements that can be harmful to your child. The above points should be considered while buying cereal for your little ones.

Now here are 2cereals that you can get and enjoy with your kids.

Slurp Farm Cereals

There is a vast variety to choose from. The Slurp Farm cereals are high in protein and fibre with little sugar. It makes sure that child health is not compromised while promising delicious taste without using preservatives and artificial flavours.

Ragi, millets, and oats are the most popular and healthiest cereals.

You just have to add hot water, leave it for 5 minutes, and tada! You are ready to serve your kid a bowl full of taste and goodness.

Nestle Ceregrow

Nestle is one of the most trusted brands when it comes to baby food. Ceregrow is a perfect blend of vitamins, minerals, fruits, and the goodness of milk. It is a nutrient-dense food, assuring the presence of all nutrients in every bowl you serve your child. No artificial flavours or preservatives are used in Ceregrow.

Parliament session: Private member’s bill to ban non-veg food at govt functions to be tabled

0

The upcoming winter session of Parliament will feature debate on a number of private member’s bills, including one that would make it illegal for the provision of non-vegetarian food in any capacity within the government, as well as another that would outlaw the practise of bribery in the private sector.

According to a notification from the Lok Sabha, a total of twenty legislation that were submitted by members have been listed for discussion during this session. Although the vast majority of private member bills are shot down in Parliament after only a few minutes of debate, 14 of these pieces of legislation have been successful in getting through the chamber since the country’s independence. The most recent one was authorized in the year 1970.

The Official Government Meetings and Functions (Prohibition on Serving Non-Vegetarian Food) Bill has been proposed by Parvesh Sahib Singh, a member of Parliament for the BJP who represents West Delhi. ‘Germany’s environment ministry submitted a proposal to ban non-vegetarian food in government meetings and functions as it has a huge effect on climate and global warming,’ Singh claims.

Singh emphasized that the proposed legislation does not attempt to prohibit all forms of non-vegetarian cuisine for the general public. But even if just the government takes action, we can make progress toward more environmentally responsible lifestyles and more sustainable food systems, he said.

Tirath Singh Rawat, another member of the BJP, had the intention of introducing a measure that would make yoga a required subject in all of the nation’s schools. “Yoga must be taught at the school level in the formative years,” stated the former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, who would pilot the Compulsory Teaching of Yoga in Educational Institutions Bill. It is beneficial to one’s physical as well as cerebral development.

The MGNREGS (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme) law is going to be amended, and two opposition MPs, NK Premachandran and VK Sreekandan, both of whom are from Kerala, will be pushing measures with the same objective: to change section 3. According to the provisions of Section 3, the state government is obligated to provide employment to each and every worker for a maximum of one hundred days each year.

The measures are a response to numerous opposition leaders’ demands that an individual be required to labour up to 150 days. The federal government, on the other hand, has steadfastly refused to raise the yearly limit, arguing instead that in the event of a natural disaster, a state is permitted, under the terms of the legislation, to provide employment for up to 150 days.

The Member of Parliament for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rama Devi, will introduce a measure to ban bribery in the business sector, while the Member of Parliament for the Congress Party, Dean Kuriakose, will introduce a bill to provide compensation to people who have been injured by wildlife. In addition to this, it is anticipated that individual members would propose a number of bills to amend the Constitution.

Prestige Group’s Forum Falcon City Mall: Revamping Food Retail!

Prestige Group

Prestige Group is rewriting that rule by not doubling but more than trebling the amount of space in malls that are reserved for food retail. This is in contrast to the general standard and thumb rule among developers, which is to keep 5 percent of the total space in malls for food retail.

More than one and a half lakh square feet, or fifteen percent of the total one million square feet of space that will be available when the largest mall in Bengaluru opens on Thursday, will be devoted exclusively to food and beverage establishments.

Prestige Group’s upcoming Forum Falcon City Mall!

“Muhammad Ali, CEO-Retail, Prestige Group, believes their newest and largest retail and entertainment center in Bengaluru will transform the way people view food retail in malls.”

If you include the LuLu HyperMarket‘s 75,000 square feet of space, which is dedicated to food retail as well, the total square footage devoted to food retail in China is over 2 lakh square feet says Muhammad Ali, CEO-Retail, Prestige Group in a telephone conversation on the eve of the opening of Bengaluru’s newest shopping and entertainment destination.

Since 2004, we have been in the mall development business. All the prior initiatives had roughly 90% space dedicated to fashion and clothing, with the remaining 10% split between F&B and entertainment, he explains.

According to him, eating out at a shopping mall was never a common practice till recently. In the past, people only ate at restaurants on the high streets. He claimed the pandemic has altered people’s views, and that the Forum Falcon City Mall will reflect such shifts.

“Forum Falcon will have forty different dining options, the greatest of which is the 25,000 square foot microbrewery,” Ali stated. Additionally, there will be a food court with seating for 1200 people and twenty separate eateries. “These will be distributed across all of the levels,” he said.

Since individuals have strong feelings about the food they eat, Ali said they had designated a special section of the store for vegetarians, stocking it with four or five vegetarian-friendly brands.

Ali mentioned several additional exciting developments in the grocery retail industry, including the use of a mobile app that includes barcodes on each table so that customers can place orders through a centralized platform and pay using a digital payment gateway. Mobile orders will be displayed when the device prepares.

Prestige Group News:

They’ve set aside an area just for food deliveries so that all of their F&B suppliers can meet the needs of their patrons who are waiting outside. Guests and shoppers at the mall won’t be bothered by the online aggregators who have registered for a special entrance and exit, and a special parking lot just for them. For both online and offline food deliveries, “we have worked out a new revenue-sharing system with partners,” he explained.

According to Ali, the mall draws a large and affluent captive audience from south Bengaluru. Once things calm down, he predicts “roughly one million each month” in visitors.

Crushed Crickets for in-flight meals, A Japanese Favourite

0

There is no debate favouring the fact that food on aeroplanes is tasty. It is a known fact that aeroplane food is bland and tasteless.

There are different weird foods consumed by people across the world, whether they are bugs, insects, or even ants and beetles.

Insects are considered a delicacy in Japan. Keeping that in mind, the Japanese airline Zipiar has introduced an insect-based food menu for their in-flight meals. They are serving chilli burgers and pasta. Both of them have crushed cricket and cost 1,500 yen.

Zipair is said to have collaborated with a food technology company named Gryllus, and they are aiming to serve unusual and weird meals. It is reported that the chefs worked hard for three months before developing this dish.

Cricket-based snacks are served in rural areas of Japan. According to Gryllus, cricket matures quicker and requires less food to live.

Crickets are considered a useful resource because they are a high source of protein and are rich in different vitamins. Gryllus is focusing on them developing more cricket food. Crushed crickets will be used in different dishes, and cricket powder can be sprinkled on top of the dishes.

Eating insects might be yucky for some people, but there are more than 2000 species of insects that are eaten and enjoyed across the world.

It is one of the steps that Zipair has taken towards being environmentally conscious, and it also doesn’t feel like the last. It will definitely take some time to digest the insect in the flight menu, but let’s all face it: it is an effective step towards a better future that will be sustainable too.

Zipair is focusing on reducing food waste and developing a food cycle that will revolve around crickets as the future food.

Amazon to shut down its food delivery service in India by End of Year

Amazon Meal, a food delivery service that was offered by Amazon India, will stop its operations by the end of the year. When it first began offering its delivery service, over two years ago, it was only available in Bengaluru and a few other select locations across the country.

Zomato and Swiggy were their main competitors at the time. Amazon provided confirmation of the report to the news agency Reuters and stated that the decisions were made as part of the company’s ongoing process of conducting an annual assessment of its operational plans. Earlier this month, the corporation was forced to lay off hundreds of employees and discontinue operations of its education technology service in India.

The corporation has decided to concentrate its efforts on its primary line of business and will reduce its involvement in a number of other market segments. According to a quote from a source that was published in Business Today, “This step was taken in light of the economic recession, and the company will focus more on core businesses going forward.”

In a separate development, Amazon confirmed to The Economic Times that Amazon Food would be discontinued beginning on December 29. The following was included in a statement: “These are not arbitrary choices; we give them careful consideration. We are gradually terminating these programmes in order to minimise the disruption to our existing clients and business partners, and we are providing assistance to our workers who will be directly impacted by these changes. Amazon’s primary goal continues to be to give its ever-expanding customer base the greatest possible experience while shopping online by offering the widest possible assortment of high-quality goods at competitive prices and in a manner that is as convenient as possible”

At the time of the debut of Amazon Food in May 2022, the firm stated that customers desired the app to add food delivery and to go beyond essentials in scope. At the moment, the primary Amazon app features a specific section that is devoted to food and medication.

Amazon Food and Amazon Academy first launched in India at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to assist customers in gaining access to crucial services without leaving the comfort of their homes. However, the Indian market was already dominated in the food delivery area by established competitors such as Swiggy and Zomato as well as start-up companies such as Big Basket and Dunzo. When it came to the educational technology sector, Byju’s held a significant portion of the Indian market.

For instance, the market for Indian cuisine is still extremely competitive, and despite their best efforts, industry heavyweights like Uber have been unable to create an impression with their food delivery service, Uber Eats. Several systems were sold and rebranded, such as the Gururgram-based Grofers, which Zomato acquired in June 2022 and renamed Blinkit after the transaction.

As was previously noted, the corporation terminated the employment of more than 10,000 workers at the beginning of this month as a direct result of the uncertain state of the macroeconomic environment. A number of Indian employees have also been affected by the layoffs, and some of them are turning to LinkedIn in order to find new employment and preserve their H-1B visas.

The Labor Ministry held an inquiry into the company’s Voluntary Separation Program, also known as a programme under which Indian workers were encouraged to leave the company in exchange for certain monetary benefits, last week. The company was called in for the inquiry after receiving a summons from the Ministry of Labour.

Smitha Sharma, who is Amazon’s senior public policy manager, and NITES, which is an employee association, were both called in for a hearing by A Anjanappa, who is the deputy chief commissioner at the Labour Ministry.

During the hearing, the company argued that all of the employees who left voluntarily did so on their own and that they were not subjected to any undue pressure to leave their positions. Representatives of the workforce were unable to attend the meeting and consequently submitted a request to postpone it. According to the information obtained by Business Today, the meeting will be rescheduled to take place in about two to three weeks.

Charge yourself for a hectic week: 5 recipe options for a power-packed start!

0

You are somewhere in a wonderland, happily roaming here and there, and suddenly you hear an annoying sound, and guess what? It’s your alarm; welcome to the real world, buddy! You jump out of bed, terrified. You’re late and rushing to make up for a lost time. You do everything possible to get out of the house as soon as possible. And yet again, you’ve skipped breakfast.

Can you relate to this? We know as its Ghar Ghar Ki Kahaani!

Breakfast is the main meal of the day, and for a good reason. It is the first meal that “breaks” the overnight “fast.” Breakfast gives your body and mind the energy required to begin the day. Eating breakfast also improves brain function, attention span, concentration, and memory, reducing irritability and fatigue. We know you know everything, but breakfast is frequently overlooked in the rush to wake up and get the day started.

Breakfast should ideally provide 20-25% of your daily nutritional requirements. When you skip it, you will inevitably grab an over-caffeinated drink, a croissant, or a sugar-loaded item. Remember, it’s not just about eating breakfast, but about eating a healthy and balanced breakfast that includes all food groups.

Here is a list of quick and instant breakfast recipes for your rescue!

1. Corn Potato

A perfect recipe for early mornings, you just need to grate a potato, add salt, cornflour, red chilli powder, and frozen corn. Mix it, and adjust the consistency with a spoon of water. Now, just take a pan, add little butter, and spread the mixture. Roast it on a medium flame; as soon as it turns golden, flip to the other side and roast it with a bit of butter. That’s it; your breakfast is ready.

2. Whole Wheat Pancakes

Who doesn’t love pancakes? Try this healthier version; in a bowl, take a cup of whole wheat flour, add 1 egg, a tsp of vanilla essence, ¼ cup of sugar (optional), a cup of milk, and whisk to form a smooth batter. Now take a pan, add butter, and spread it on the pan. Now add 1 ladleful of batter to the pan and lay it in a circular motion. Roast on both sides. Tadaa! Grab the pancakes; it’s all yours.

3. Anda Pav

Our go-to breakfast; in a pan, add butter, add chopped onions, chopped capsicum, and coriander. Add salt and red chilli powder, and a beaten egg to the pan. After two mins of roasting, scramble it. Your egg stuffing is ready. Take a pav, cut it in half, stuff the egg mixture, and enjoy this dish with garam Chai.

4. Corn Appe

Grind the sweet corn, green chilli, and ginger into a coarse paste. Combine the semolina, soda, coriander, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. If necessary, add 1-2 tbsp water to make a batter. Add 2-3 drops of oil to each slot in an appe pan. Fill each slot 3/4 full with corn-semolina batter. Cook until one side is golden brown. Turnover and cook on the other side as well. Serve it with tomato ketchup.

5. Banana Strawberry Smoothie

One of the easiest breakfast recipes, you just need a blender, add a cup of milk, a banana, 2-3 strawberries, and a spoonful of chia seeds. If you want, you can add a little honey. Blend it. Your yummy tummy-filling smoothie is ready.

We hope these recipes will help you and you will not leave your workplace empty. Plan ahead and lead a healthy and happy life. Good Day!

What Shilpa Shetty Kundra Eats In A Day?

0

In a world filled with quick fixes, fad diets, weight loss obsessions, and Instagram bodies, it’s refreshing to see some people make healthy choices every day and prove that a healthy body and mind are a prerequisite to looking great.

Shilpa Shetty is one actress who lives by this rule. Shilpa, who won our hearts with her incredible dancing ability, has been a fitness icon in our collective consciousness. She has been a Yoga practitioner for years and has advocated clean eating for years: foods sourced responsibly and made with minimal artificial flavors and additives. She has an official YouTube channel wherein she shares some of her most healthy and delicious recipes.

Shilpa Shetty looks every bit gorgeous with each passing year and it has a lot to do with how she treats her body and her emphasis on nutrition. Here’s a glimpse of her typical day with food.

Morning

Shilpa enjoys home-cooked meals and insists on food prepared with pure ghee. She begins her day with a glass of lukewarm water and lemon while on a diet. She gargles her mouth with a tablespoon of coconut oil after that. Oil pulling is an Ayurvedic practice in which you whiz the oil around your mouth for five and a half minutes.

Breakfast

She never skips breakfast and eats it before leaving the house. And if she’s running late, she’ll carry her breakfast with her. She doesn’t like bread and prefers muesli with sliced apples, mangoes, and almond milk in the morning. Aside from that, she enjoys eggs for breakfast. She also occasionally enjoys broken wheat upma, idlis, and paneer bhurji toast.

Lunch

Shilpa adores vegetables and swears for their nutritional value. Ghee, in addition to vegetables, is a staple in her lunch. When it comes to lunch, she starts with a bowl of clear soup, then a portion of greens and salad, red or brown rice, and sautéed vegetables. Sometimes, she prefers mixed grains roti with vegetable curry, curd, and dal. If she craves something sweet, she has a small piece of chikki, a traditional Indian sweet made with jaggery and groundnuts, after her lunch.

Snacks

She doesn’t like long gaps between meals, so she has a healthy snack of two eggs or a sandwich with veggies and potatoes after lunch. Sometimes, she also prefers having makhana roasted in ghee. Her plate also requires a small number of fruits and nuts. Shilpa is a firm believer in the importance of what and how much you eat to maintain a healthy diet.

Dinner

Shilpa makes it a point to eat her dinner before 7:30 p.m. Even if she has to attend a social gathering, she will make sure to eat dinner before 7:30 p.m. She prefers a final light meal of clear soup, roti, and a small portion of vegetables.

We now know the secret to Shilpa’s fit and toned physique. she follows a fairly strict diet regimen, which is why she is healthy and fit. “Sacrifice excess sugar, eat clean, and get fitter than you were yesterday” is Shilpa Shetty’s fitness mantra.
