IHCL Gandhinagar, Gujarat with Taj Resort and Spa

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has recently made an announcement regarding the signing of a new Taj branded resort and spa in Gandhinagar. This brownfield resort is expected to open its doors to guests in early 2023.

Located in the vibrant city of Gandhinagar, which is the capital of Gujarat, this upcoming resort is set to offer a premium experience to its guests with its luxurious amenities and services. The resort will feature the iconic Taj brand’s signature hospitality, which is known for its unparalleled attention to detail and personalized services.

The resort will be developed on an existing property that is undergoing renovations and refurbishments to transform it into a world-class resort. The brownfield resort will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including luxurious guest rooms and suites, a world-class spa, a fitness center, a swimming pool, multiple dining options, and meeting and event spaces to cater to the needs of business and leisure travelers.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, said, “IHCL is renowned for its pioneering efforts in developing several destinations. The resort is located at a short distance from both Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, opening a new tourist circuit in the state of Gujarat. With the expanding wellness travel market, this resort is well-positioned to cater to the growing need around the circle of wellness through its renowned and award-winning Jiva spa.He further added, “IHCL is delighted to partner once again with the Sankalp Group.”

With its strategic location in the heart of Gandhinagar, the upcoming Taj resort and spa will provide easy access to various tourist attractions, including the famous Akshardham Temple, Sabarmati Ashram, and Adalaj Stepwell. This new addition to the Taj portfolio is expected to strengthen IHCL’s presence in the region and cater to the growing demand for luxury hospitality services in Gujarat.
