Greenpark Hotels and Resorts Limited, a South Indian hospitality group, has made a significant acquisition by acquiring Fairfield by Marriott Chennai OMR and Four Points by Sheraton Ahmedabad. This move represents Greenpark’s entry into the West Indian market and its first association with Marriott Hotels. The acquisition will significantly expand the company’s portfolio, adding 210 rooms to its existing portfolio of over 1000 rooms and award-winning F&B outlets across eight hotels in five cities.

The acquisition of Fairfield by Marriott Chennai OMR and Four Points by Sheraton Ahmedabad will position Greenpark as a prominent player in the hospitality industry. Ahmedabad is known for being one of the fastest growing cities in the country and offers a lot of potential for Greenpark’s growth and expansion in the region. The addition of 210 rooms to Greenpark’s portfolio will further strengthen its presence in the market.

K Mohan Krishna, President at Greenpark Hotels And Resorts Limited, said, “2023 is an exciting year for the group as we are expanding our footprint in newer territories with a Greenpark property slated to be operational early this year in Bengaluru which incorporates our new brand identity and design sensibility. We aspire to expand our presence and extend our trademark hospitality across major metropolitan cities in the country.”

Greenpark Hotels and Resorts Limited has a rich history, having started as Diana Hotels in 1991. Over the years, the company has grown significantly, employing over 1000 people across the group. In 2011, Greenpark ventured into the upscale hotel market with Marigold in Hyderabad and in 2012, the company launched Avasa, a hotel designed by Ed Pool and now managed by the group.

Greenpark is committed to offering the finest hospitality experience to its guests. The company aspires to be a leading chain of upscale and midscale hotels and looks forward to strategically expanding its presence across the country. With the acquisition of Fairfield by Marriott Chennai OMR and Four Points by Sheraton Ahmedabad, Greenpark has taken a big step towards realizing its vision.
