Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar opened up about his affinity with food. He will be one of the judges alongside Vikas Khanna and Garima Arora. He believes that Indian food has always been “ahead of its time” and that everyone should try Kathiyawadi Kadhi and Khichdi at least once in their lifetime.
“I have always fought for ethnic, comfort, and street food,” he declared. Every time, I become excited to see what fresh ideas and interpretations will be on the plate. We have done so in prior seasons and will do it again in this one. This season strongly emphasizes participants’ development and contributions to that. Given our incredible potential, especially after the pandemic, this season is particularly noteworthy. That is what distinguishes it and excites it.
When asked about some dishes he felt everyone ought to try, he responded, “I think everyone should taste a nice Khichdi, but it’s produced in their various locations.” Khichdi is my idea of an emotional “Nirvana.” For me, the ideal soul food is Khichdi served with Kadhi prepared in the Kathiawadi way.
He responded, “Indian cuisine is one of the most versatile and adaptable, and I don’t just say this out of bias when questioned about its popularity worldwide.” Our cuisine has been centuries ahead of its time. Ingredients and flavours have undergone great alterations due to societal and cultural changes. The world is starting to catch on to our idea of eating seasonally and locally, which will ultimately contribute to true sustainability.
We have candidates from practically all regions of India, he remarked, describing the contestant on the show and how the upcoming season will be different. Since there are good and bad days, I don’t want to pick favourites because it might be depressing if your favourite had a terrible day. Every obstacle introduces a new element of surprise. Despite this, there are competitors ranging in age from 19 to 70. I feel connected with a septuagenarian who has persevered this far and is a warrior in life. “It’s going to be a really interesting season, to put it briefly,” he said.
