The internet is divided over a Twitter user’s post that labels restaurant “Pure Veg” sign boards as “offensive” and “un-inclusive.” All these “pure veg” signs posted at food establishments are rude and exclusive, the user said. blatantly insinuating that other food preferences are “impure” and justifying prejudice against those who have different tastes in food.
All these "pure veg" signs across food outlets are offensive and un-inclusive. Blatantly implying that other food preferences are "impure" and legitimizing the discrimination against people with diverse preferences.

The tweet gained popularity on the network and received a wide range of responses. Some people said that the Twitter user had misunderstood the sign’s intent and that nothing was wrong.
Famous “Pure Veg” Tweet!
A user commented that vegetarians feel more comfortable eating just vegetarian food. What’s the problem? Non-vegetarians are permitted to eat the same foods. Just that extra comfort zone is provided to those who prefer vegetarian food.
Veg people are comfortable to eat in a pure veg. So what's the issue? Non veg eaters are not barred from the same. It's just that extra comfort zone that's given to the veg preferring people.

So if the restaurant did not promote but instead chose to serve just vegetarian food, that would be more inclusive? You’ll then claim that signs indicating men’s and women’s restrooms should no longer exist since they are discriminatory toward one another? a remark was made.
So it would be more inclusive if the restaurant did not advertise but refused serving non-veg items?? Next you will say boards declaring men and women toilets also need to be abolished being discriminatory to one another?!

A few users attempted to define what “pure veg” meant. “Pure ghee” does not imply impure components. It denotes the absence of adulteration. “Pure veg” refers to food prepared in a kitchen free of non-vegetarian ingredients, someone wrote.
Pure ghee doesn't mean other ingredients are impure. It means there is no adulteration. Pure veg means it's made in a kitchen that doesn't cook non veg.

You will do anything for likes and followers.
Another commenter stated, “I have always regarded of pure veg restaurants signage as informing vegetarians that you can safely eat here without worrying much about what all and how it’s prepared in this restaurant and telling non-vegetarians that we don’t offer non-veg so search for other restaurant and save your time.”
“This reminds me of demonstrating without a sign. Just vegetarian meal is meant by “pure veg.” Pure implies that there is no blending of oil, fat, or other undetectable meat components. Although it is still unethical to discriminate on the basis of religion or caste, this is merely Indian English, according to a remark.
This feels like protesting with a blank placard. Pure veg refers to Vegetaroan food, that’s all. Pure is to imply there is no mixing of oil, lard, or other invisible meat items. It is still wrong to discriminate based on faith/caste, but in this, it’s just Indian English.

Another tweet mentioned, instead of having everyone inquire when they arrive, it is best to demonstrate in advance that eating meat is an option. You can’t dispute that operating purely vegetarian restaurants and choosing to eat vegetarianism are personal decisions.
It's better to display before hand rather than every person coming and asking..and how eating non vegetarian is a choice..eating vegetarian and running only vegetarian restaurant is also personal choice..you can't deny it
