Prozo has announced the inauguration of its second enterprise-grade cold storage facility, positioned in Krishnapatnam, Tamil Nadu. Located on the East Coast region of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, this facility will increase the company’s offerings and help cater its demands for cold storage of seafood products.
As per an official statement, Prozo’s latest facility, positioned approximately 25 km from the nearest Highway NH16, has been strategically placed to cater to the needs of seafood producers, exporters, and distributors. It is conveniently situated within a 30 km radius of Nellore, 115 km from Sri City, 170 km from Chennai, and 700 km from Vizag.
Spanning an area of 30,000 square feet and towering at a height of 39.8 feet, this facility has been meticulously designed specifically for seafood storage purposes. It can maintain temperatures as frigid as minus 20 degrees Celsius and boasts ten chambers, each capable of accommodating 280 pallets within G+4 heavy-duty racking systems.
Prozo emphasizes that its fundamental mission is centered on harnessing technology and providing comprehensive operational capabilities to deliver integrated end-to-end supply chain solutions. At present, the company efficiently oversees supply chains for more than 100 enterprises, including well-known e-commerce leaders. Their expansive fulfillment network encompasses 30 centers, strategically distributed across 12 locations in India, encompassing an impressive total of 1.5 million square feet.
