Located in the heart of Bandra, Veronica’s is housed inside the iconic St. Jude’s Bakery, a historic landmark that has been given a new lease on life by Hunger Inc. Hospitality. The space has been thoughtfully redesigned by Shonan Purie Trehan, founder and principal architect at L.A.B (Language Architecture Body), in collaboration with Please See. The result is a unique and inviting environment that perfectly complements the food and drink offerings at Veronica’s.
The star of the menu at Veronica’s is the handcrafted bread. The kitchen crew takes pride in baking a wide selection of bread fresh daily, using only the finest ingredients. From rustic Italian Ciabatta to soft and chewy Dutch Crunch bread or Tijgerbrood, Milk Loafs, Bagels, Buns, and more, the bread at Veronica’s is a true work of art.
But bread is not the only thing on the menu at Veronica’s. The kitchen crew also takes their meat game seriously, using only top-quality cuts of meat that are cured and smoked to perfection. The result is tender, melt-in-your-mouth protein that elevates the sandwiches to a whole new level.
And let’s not forget about the coffee. Veronica’s offers a striking range of specialty coffees, sourced from single-origin coffee estates in Chikmagalur, Karnataka. The coffee selection has been curated in partnership with Bai Mu Dan, Pune, ensuring a top-notch experience for coffee enthusiasts and novices alike.
As you step inside Veronica’s, you’ll be immediately struck by the refurbished graffiti on the facade. Originally painted by Portuguese artist Akacorleone, the colorful artwork has been carefully preserved and serves as a testament to the location’s rich history. Throughout the space, you’ll find other design elements that pay homage to St. Jude’s Bakery and the surrounding neighborhood of Ranwar.
