The upcoming season finale of Shark Tank India, titled “Gateway to Shark Tank India 2,” is a special digital-only episode that will provide a platform for a limited group of aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch their business concepts to a panel of renowned entrepreneurs, also known as “sharks.” The show has gained immense popularity worldwide and has inspired several entrepreneurs to present their ideas to investors and turn their dreams into reality.
One of the guest sharks in the upcoming episode is Vikas D. Nahar, the founder and CEO of Happilo. Nahar’s entrepreneurial journey began after completing his Bachelor of Computer Application degree from Bangalore University in 2005. He worked for the Jain Group before pursuing his MBA from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCHMRD), Pune.
In his debut video, the businessman shared that he faced rejection 20 times before finally succeeding. He highlighted the importance of taking a chance and having faith in one’s instincts.
He said , “I always listen to my heart”.
In 2017, Nahar founded Happilo, a company that sells nutritious snack foods and has become an industry leader in the dry-fruit and nuts category. Happilo has a revenue run-rate of Rs 500 crore and has established a strong presence in both retail outlets and e-commerce across the nation. Nahar’s accomplishments also include winning the Times 40 under 40 award, which recognizes young achievers under the age of 40.
Apart from Nahar, the upcoming episode of Gateway to Shark Tank India 2 will feature other renowned entrepreneurs, including Aman Gupta (boAt), Namita Thapar (EmCure), Vineeta Singh (Sugar), and Amit Jain (CarDekho). However, Peyush Bansal (Lenskart) and Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com) will not be present at the event.
The special episode will be available for streaming on SonyLIV, an Indian video streaming service that offers a variety of shows and movies across multiple languages.
