Ryan and Keenan Tham are renowned restaurateurs and co-founders of Pebble Street Hospitality, a restaurant group with a reputation for offering unique dining experiences across India. With their extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, they have decided to launch their latest venture, Foo, in the bustling city of Bengaluru.
Located in Forum Rex Walk on Brigade Road, Foo has a prime location in the heart of the city. This strategic placement makes it easily accessible for patrons looking for a vibrant dining experience in a bustling location.
The restaurant boasts an impressive menu that includes over 100 Asian dishes in tapas format, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. The dishes range from sushi and dim sum to Nikkei Peruvian ceviche and salads, to small and large pan-Asian plates. To curate the menu, the Tham brothers brought in renowned chef Eric Sifu, who has an excellent reputation for his culinary skills and expertise in pan-Asian cuisine.
The interior of Foo has been thoughtfully designed in collaboration with Praxis Inc, a Bengaluru-based design firm, to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is spread across 5500 square feet, with two levels and a seating capacity of up to 120 guests. The seating options include indoor, outdoor, and veranda dining, all designed to offer a unique dining experience. Additionally, for patrons who require more privacy, there is a private dining room that can accommodate groups of 12-14.
The decor at Foo is a combination of modern and traditional styles. The use of vibrant red tones, arched Asian roof tiles, pod seating arrangements, and plenty of greenery creates a casual yet opulent atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant offers a vibrant and welcoming ambiance for patrons to enjoy their meal with friends and family.
