1.  ZOMATO 

Zomato is a well-known food technology start-up that essentially offers a list of restaurants on its portal from which customers can choose their order and have it delivered right to their door. It was founded by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah in 2008. This company has expanded to operate internationally as well as in more than 1000 cities within India                                               

2.  SWIGGY

The online food delivery service Swiggy is based in India. As of September 2021, Bangalore-based Swiggy, which was founded in July 2014, is active in 500 Indian cities. This food delivery company was started by Nandan Reddy and Sriharsha Majety.

3.  FAASOS 

In Pune, Faasos was founded in 2004 as a chain of stores selling Kolkata rolls. With its primary presence in places like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata among others it is today delivering over all of India. Jaydeep Barman and Kallol Ban are the founders of Faasos. 

4.  FALAFEL FACTORY

The Falafel Factory specialised in middle-eastern food. The plan is to introduce India to falafels, adelectable street snack popular throughout the world. For the product to be sold at a reasonable price, the brand uses a hub-and-spoke QSR model. The company was founded by two IIT alumni Akanksha Prasad and Chirag Thaker.

5.  BIRIYANI BY KILO 

Biriyani By Kilo is a food service and delivery company that cook and deliver authentic dishes. They  have selected a variety of biryanis from all over India for their menu. Kaushik Roy is the Founder and  CEO at Biryani By Kilo.

6.  EATONGO

EatOnGo is an online service that lets customers order food and have it delivered. Its mission is to give Bangalore residents a flavour of the north. The company were founded by two North Indians Taru Raaj Agrawal and Udit Saran.

7.  SPOONJOY

SpoonJoy is your one-stop shop for great daily meals if you are busy cooking. On a weekly subscription basis, SpoonJoy gives its users freshly cut fruits, sprouts, and a combination of both, lunch, and snacks to make nutritious food inexpensive and available to everyone. Manish Jethani is the founder of SpoonJoy. 

8.  INNER CHEF 

Serial entrepreneurs Rajesh Sawhney, Sanjeev Singhal and Bal DiGhent established InnerChef in April 2015. Through a mobile app, the business company provides online meal discovery and delivery services.

9.  TANDURUST 

Pushpesh Dutt and Sudhanshu Sharma, two young fitness fanatics, founded Tandurust in December 2014 to provide nutrition- and calorie-measured meals to various communities of health-conscious  Bangalore residents. Through its Facebook page, website, and other initiatives like quizzes, events, etc., the food technology business also disseminates information about diet and healthy living.       

10. FRESH MENU

FreshMenu offers a food delivery service that offers the highest-quality, fresh and delectable cuisines.Rashmi Daga is the founder & CEO of FreshMenu. 

11. HUNGER BOX 

HungerBox is India’s top institutional food tech company. Industry veterans Sandipan Mitra and Uttam Kumar founded the company in 2016.Nearly 160 organisations in technology, financial services, education, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors entrust HungerBox with managing their complete F&B needs

12. BOX8

Quick-service restaurant chain Box8 is headquartered in Mumbai. Users can explore Box8’s website and place online orders for things to be delivered to their homes. Both iOS and Android users can access the service through an app. 

13. CURE.FIT 

Mukesh Bansal established the Bangalore-based company Cure. fit. It is a health and fitness company. The company provides both online and offline experiences for exercise, nutrition and mental wellness. 

14. CHAI POINT

This company offers chai. It also sells multigrain biscuits, cake rusks, and quinoa puffs. The platform serves various flavours of tea that are made with tea leaves and are free of artificial colours and flavours. For offices and working people, it provides a range of services, including “Chai-on-Call,”  delivery service for tea, and “boxC.in,” a platform for cloud-based beverage services                             

15. DINEOUT 

One of the most well-known and popular restaurants table reservation apps, Dineout has completely revolutionised the industry. Everyone enjoys it and can access listings of almost all the city’s top restaurants. This business was established in 2012 by Ankit Mehrotra, Vivek Kapoor, Sahil Jain, and Nikhil Bakshi.
