When you look at successful CEOs, you will notice that they have all figured out a few things in life and share a common quality – solid habits. These are CEOs who have realized that in this competitive and ruthless business world, you need a lot of energy, and developing healthy, decent eating habits is the way to get it. So we’ve compiled a list of successful CEOs’ eating habits for you.

To be as successful as them, try to adopt these healthy eating practices into your daily routine.

Mukesh Ambani, MD & Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited.

Mukesh Ambani has fairly modest dining habits for someone who earns over 30 crores per day and is listed among the top 50 richest people in the world.

He doesn’t care what he eats, whether it’s street food or haute cuisine in a posh restaurant, as long as it’s excellent. Here are some details on his dietary habits.

  • A simple breakfast with papaya juice is preferred.
  • Lunch will consist of soups and salads.
  • A basic meal of Roti-Dal and Bhaat-Shaak. Is a fan of South Indian and Gujarati cuisine.
  • Every Sunday, he enjoys a South Indian breakfast.

Brad Lande, Head of Birchbox Man

Brad was never a morning person until he was in his early thirties. Mornings were little more than a nuisance to him. Since then, he’s developed a few habits, five in total, that have converted his mornings from a groggy blur to an energised one. And two of the five habits have to do with good eating, and they were:

Hot water with a dash of lemon: Vitamin “C” lowers blood pressure, protects against infection, cleanses the liver, and revitalises the skin.

Begin your day with a Smoo

John Mackey, Founder & CEO, Whole Foods Market.

In an interview, John Mackey indicated that a plant-based diet is ideal for optimal health and minimizing cancer and heart disease. He has been following a 100% plant-based diet for over 14 years now, for ethical and health reasons, and his eating habits are guided by only two maxims.

Consume whole foods rather than processed or refined foods.

Vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, entire grains, and seeds in abundance.

Steve Jobs, Former CEO, Apple Computers.

According to Walter Isaacson, author of the biography “Steve Jobs,” Steve Jobs’ idea of a diet plan, like his business ideas, was off the established path.

He would consume only one type of food for weeks on end, such as apples or carrots until a different food type piqued his interest. He allegedly ate so many carrots at one point that his skin turned a vivid orange colour.

He also dabbled in “Fruitarianism.” A diet consisting solely of fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and grains.

Victoria Beckham, Business Woman, Fashion Designer, Model, and Singer.

An ardent supporter of the Alkaline diet, the recent diet craze that focuses on increasing the body’s alkaline level while decreasing its acidic level. In short, the diet should consist of 80% alkaline foods and 20% acidic ones.

This diet promises to increase memory and energy levels, as well as lower the risk of heart disease, sleeplessness, bloating, and migraines. This is what the diet entails:

  • Using honey, coconut palm sugar, and other sugar substitutes in place of refined sugar.
  • Eat largely raw foods.
  • Getting rid of all cow-based dairy products in favour of goat and sheep milk and milk products.
  • To increase the alkalinity level, drink a glass of hot water with a squeeze of lemon.

The best way to ensure business success is to eat healthy and unhealthy food in moderation. While you want to avoid eating unhealthy foods as much as possible as a CEO, you also want to make sure you’re eating to stay energized.

To do this, you need to create a balance of nutritious and tasty foods. The best way to do this is to make sure you are eating a salad, drinking water, and eating your vegetables each day. This is one of the best habits many CEOs have that you can emulate and are necessary for running a successful business!
