Post Diwali Detox: Checkout These amazing Detox Drink Recipes to get back to your Healthy Diet

It may be difficult to maintain a healthy diet when surrounded by heaps of laddus, barfi, crispy fried snacks, and other delectable pakwans. Karwachauth, Diwali, Bhaiya dooj, one after the other, you must have eaten a lot of Kaju katli, chaats, samosas, kebabs, biryanis, and fried foods. This kind of fun, done once a year, should never be regretted because it is what festivals are for.

Pineapple lemonade

Bromelain is an enzyme present in pineapple juice. Bromelain helps in the metabolism of dietary protein, which may help in the removal of excess belly fat. Pineapple is high in fibre as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • A pinch of salt

Direction

  • How to Get Ready
  • Blend the chopped pineapple in a blender until smooth.
  • Fill a glass halfway with juice.
  • Mix the lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly.

Beetroot Mint Juice 

Beets are high in fibre and low in calories. Including fibre in your diet can help you control your appetite and lose weight. It is an excellent liver cleanser. If you want to lose weight, drink unstrained juice.

Ingredients

  • Beetroot
  • Mint leaves
  • A pinch of salt

Directions

  • Put the beets into the blender after cutting them into cubes.
  • Mix in some mint leaves and a pinch of salt. Mix it.
  • Drink while it’s fresh.

Buttermilk Detox Drink

Curd (or yoghurt) contains probiotics, which help to strengthen the digestive system. Its nutritional composition and lactic acid bacteria may benefit gut health, appetite control, and weight loss. 

Ingredients

  • Buttermilk/plain curd
  • Mint leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed powder (roasted)
  • A pinch of salt

Directions

  • Fill a jar halfway with buttermilk. To make your homemade buttermilk, combine two tablespoons of plain curd, a pinch of salt, and water.
  • Finely chop Mint and coriander leaves.
  • Take half a carrot and thinly slice it.
  • Add the carrots and herbs to the buttermilk.
  • Stir in a pinch of salt and some roasted cumin seed powder.
