Maya Pistola, India’s first premium 100% aged agave spirit brand, is hosting the ultimate bartending competition, #PistolaDuels, encouraging bartenders to showcase their mastery and win exclusive prizes.

Maya Pistola, invites all bartenders based in Goa, Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore, to the Pistola Duels, its first-ever 3-round bartending battle. The contest is a chance for bartenders to show off their exceptional skills to win exciting cash prizes and a trip to Goa for the final round. Starting with round 1, bartenders are encouraged to unleash their creativity and create a one-of-a-kind shot using any variant of Maya Pistola Agavepura and a unique Margarita featuring their variant Joven, and one locally-sourced ingredient, native to their city, both to be posted on Instagram before midnight on 24th February 2023.
Rules for Round 1:
- Participation Criteria: All bartenders, freelance or employed, based in Goa, Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore.
- Make
1) A unique Pistola Joven Margarita, using at least 1 local ingredient native to your city – Goa/Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore,
2) A unique shot using any variant of Maya Pistola Agavepura.
- Submit the recipes along with images of the shot & cocktails (bonus points for making a video) by posting them on your Instagram profile – reels or posts.
- Tag @pistola.agave and use the hashtag #PistolaDuels.
- Deadline: 11:59 pm 24th February 2023.
Prizes and Other Details:
- Winners of round 1 will be announced on February 25th.
- 3rd Prize: A bottle of a special edition Pistola.
- 2nd Prize: A bottle of a special edition Pistola, 50k cash prize – 25k for the bartender and 25k for their bar.
- 1st Prize: A bottle of a special edition Pistola, 1 lakh cash prize – 75k cash for the bartender and 25k for their bar.
- Note: In the case of a freelancing bartender, the winning amount will be 25k for second place, or 75k for the winner.
