Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, started a street food war in Mumbai, which is known for delectable foods like Vada Pav and Bhel Puri. Nadella spoke about the future of cloud computing and artificial intelligence on Tuesday at the Microsoft Future Ready Leadership Summit in Mumbai.
On stage, Nadella gave a live demonstration of ChatGPT, the chat robot powered by artificial intelligence that gained notoriety for its lifelike responses to all inquiries.
His initial ChatGPT question was about “the future of Mumbai.” He continued by asking ChatGPT to rank Mumbai’s street food once the bot had responded. Ten results were returned by the application, with Vada Pav coming in first. Food such as Pav Bhaji, Bhel Puri, Dahi Puri, Chaat, Pani, and Mumbai Sandwiches followed.
Then Nadella inquired where the best Vada Pav might be found on ChatGPT. Following the feedback, he was assigned to write a play for ChatGPT in which Vada Pav defends its claim to be the best street food against Pav Bhaji and Bhel Puri.
Nadella emphasized that this is creating a new “reasoning engine” using the Vada Pav example on ChatGPT.
Every knowledge worker will become more inventive, communicative, and influential. Because of this co-presence, pilots and every frontline employee will be able to perform more knowledge work than they have ever been able to, according to Nadella.
As he referred to cloud technology as a “major game changer” at the Mumbai event, Nadella stated that cloud adoption has excellent momentum. As imperatives that can aid in promoting economic progress, he named cloud computing and AI.
Nadella acknowledged the “tremendous pace in cloud adoption” and added, “Cloud has been a significant game changer… cloud is in the early-to-intermediate innings.”
Satya Nadella, born in Hyderabad, also praised how India is constructing public infrastructure.
This week, he has appointments in Delhi and Bengaluru as well. He will meet with important clients, entrepreneurs, developers, teachers, and students during his time in India.
