However, as they become more autonomous eaters, many children become pickier about some meals, especially fruits. While forcing children to eat more fruits will never work, setting a good example by eating fruits yourself will, so incorporate as many fruits as possible in your family’s diet and enjoy them together! 

There are numerous reasons why everyone, especially children, should consume fruits since they are high in critical minerals and vitamins that benefit their health, growth, and development.

Apples are delicious, but that is not the primary reason why children should consume more apples. Apple is one of the most beneficial fruits to human health. The nutrients in apples help your children stay strong and healthy while doing things they enjoy, such as climbing, jumping, and playing sports.

They are high in vitamin C and dietary fibre while also providing a small amount of other vitamins and minerals, including potassium. Furthermore, peaches with yellow flesh contain beta carotene, which the body converts to vitamin A.

Avocados are high in good fat, which is essential for heart health. It contains fatty acids and is similar to the beneficial fat found in olive oil. Furthermore, avocados are high in vitamin E, which helps keep red blood cells healthy while also preventing damage to the membranes that protect every cell in the human body.

  1. Banana 

Including bananas in children’s diets can provide them with an instant energy boost. It includes essential nutrients that aid in the development of strong bones and good eyesight. It is high in potassium and vitamin A. It aids digestion and prevents anemia in children.

  1. Papaya

Papaya is high in vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. It is high in iron and aids in the prevention of digestive disorders in youngsters. It boosts metabolism since it is high in B vitamins and folic acid. It is also high in vitamin A and potassium.

Remember that fresh fruit is preferable to fruit juice. While the whole fruit has certain natural sugars that make it taste delicious. It is also high in vitamins, fiber, and minerals, making it more healthy than a cup of fruit juice. A little cup of juice will give a child the recommended daily quantity of vitamin C. However, some children habitually consume huge amounts of fruit juice, which can cause them to gain weight.
