We will likely choose the pav bhaji cart when we indulge in mouthwatering street food. Because it smells and tastes so good, it’s hard not to buy a plate of pav bhaji and eat it with fresh green chutney, chopped onions, and a little bit of butter.

Pav Bhaji, a dish from Maharashtrian cuisine, is a complete dinner because of the variety of vegetables used in the bhaji and the soft pav, or bread. The necessary butter adds creaminess, while the additional spices give pav bhaji its flavor.

Since food is so alluring, many of us make pav bhaji at home when we cannot go out and get some. Sara Tendulkar prefers to do so as well. She provided a sneak preview of her daily food plan in her Instagram Stories. We could see a pot on the stove with what looked like good gravy bubbling away in it. The inscription said, “Pav Bhaji in the making.”

If you want to experience Mumbai’s streets while relaxing at home, try these Sara Tendulkar-inspired dishes for Mumbai street food. When we think of Mumbai, one of the first things that undoubtedly comes to mind is vada pav. Vada Pav is batata vada sandwiched between two pieces of pav or bread for a quick and tasty snack. It is eaten with onions, chutney, and green chilies.

But the tale of Mumbai street food does not end here. Here are some of the famous street food you can try:

Tawa Pulao

Are you looking for a hearty and delicious meal on Mumbai’s streets? Tawa pulao needs to be your primary option in that case. Tawa pulao, an Indian variant of fried rice, can be made in 20 to 30 minutes with various veggies and spices.

Misal Pav

Misal pav, a Mumbai street food, can help you increase your tolerance for spicy food. Pav is served with a flavorful, fragrant curry. Although it is typically consumed for breakfast, you can have it at any time of the day.

Pav Bhaji

Another pav dish, pav bhaji, is one of Mumbai’s most famous street delicacies. Pav is served with bhaji, a flavorful blend of vegetables and spices that soaks up the gravy flavors perfectly. It is simple to cook at home.

Sev Puri

Chaat variety can make your mouth swim right away. Sev puri is prepared with boiling potatoes, fried puris, onions, and several chutneys, including tamarind, garlic, and chili. For seasoning and to enhance the flavor of the snack, some raw mango and mint are also added.
