Zomato, the Indian food delivery giant, is expanding its team by adding 800 new employees. The company, which has seen a surge in demand during the pandemic, plans to hire engineers and product managers to support its growth and expansion plans.

According to the job advertisement posted by the company’s founder, Zomato is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join their team and help drive the company’s success in the coming months and years.

The company is looking for engineers to work on improving the performance and reliability of their existing platform and for product managers to help develop new products or features.

The expansion of the workforce is a sign of the company’s growth and commitment to delivering the best possible experience to its customers. The company’s founder, Deepinder Goyal, said that they are looking forward to welcoming new team members on board and working together to achieve their goals.

The news comes as the food delivery industry in India continues to grow, driven by a combination of increased online ordering and the ongoing pandemic. With more people staying at home and opting for contactless delivery, companies like Zomato have seen a significant uptick in demand for their services.
