Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will unveil the Union Budget 2023 today (February 1, 2023), prior to the 2024 general elections. The budget is anticipated to provide many relief and benefits to the Food and Beverage Industry. The industry is keenly looking for the return of Input Tax Credit on GST and relaxation of regulations and licenses.
The Budget Session of the Parliament started on Tuesday and will end on February 13 for the first part. It will resume on March 12 for the second part of the session and conclude on April 6.
